I thought Samsonite was a good brand....
I have had a lot of different brands of luggage. I thought Samsonite was supposed to be one of the best luggage brands out there. Apparently not! These suitcases had more issues than any other brand I've ever bought (Delsey, Kenneth Cole Reaction, Etc.) There are no interior zippers, instead it is a flap that can block off your suitcase fillings which has hooks that you fasten into a little loop attached to the side if the suitcase. Wasn't too bad, but then the loop completely ripped out if the side seam. Then, the tsa lock numbers cracked and I couldnt move the middle one anymore. And the final straw were the huge cracks. The first one I noticed, it was too late to buy a new suitcase for my trip, so I put a little duct tape on it and packed it up. On the way home, I took it off the conveyor belt and there was an even bigger crack in a different spot than the other one. I know the cracks and broken TSA lock are the fault of the airlines technically...however, I'm just stating the fact that NO other brand of luggage has broken apart like this, not even going through TSA baggage! I DO NOT recommend. I gave it 2 stars because it did last a little while.

Holds a lot, sturdy and lightweight, but we’ve only used them a few times and the tread on the wheels are shot

Wish the internal tie-down straps were sturdier
The suitcases all glide smoothly on their spinner wheels (though they do seem to bog down somewhat on hotel carpeting), and the sides are nice and rigid. They survived an international round-trip flight without a problem. I'm not a fan of the internal tie-down straps, though. My previous suitcases (different brand) had stiff, non-stretching nylon-belt straps with sturfy snap-together buckles and adjusters so that you could cinch them down good and snug, and be sure that whatever was under them would be held in place. These, on the other hand, just have stretchy elastic bands and what feels to me like a fairly flimsy "clip"-style fastener that really don't feel as though they'd hold up against any significant amount of force when it comes to keeping things in place. This isn't so bad for the smaller carry-on case, but it's an issue for the larger sizes.
