I use this phone holder clamped to a straight mic stand to video myself playing the keyboard with my phone. It is sturdy and holds the phone securely. It was not the easiest of things to set up, however. My main difficulty was getting it to hold the camera in the right position (that is, completely horizontal) in order to video the keyboard from above. After quite a bit of twisting and turning, I finally got it into the required position. However, even with the arm fully extended, and with the mic stand right next to the keyboard, it does not quite hold the phone over the centre of the keys and not all of them are in view. It would have met my needs better if the arm had a longer reach and if the clamp swivelled up and down as well as round and round, which would have made it easier to get into a horizontal position.I do understand that this phone arm was not exactly designed to do what I want it to, so it would be harsh to give it less than a 5 star rating. There is a gap in the market here as I know there are many keyboard players trying to find a simple way to record themselves with a top down view with their phones and there is nothing currently available that has been designed for the purpose. This is the best solution I have found and therefore give the clamp 5 stars as it does hold the phone securely and steadily and seems very well made.

Really would recommend buying this product, really like how it looks, the length is perfect for the side of my bed. Extremely easy to move the whole device and bend it, I really do like how flexible it is, would 100% recommend. There is a what looks like a moveable plastic protective sleeve over a part of the device which doesn't bother me but dose confuse me why it is there lol, but other wise definitely recommend.

This holder has been incredibly useful, we purchased it primarily for holding a mobile so that my son could do remote piano lessons. Since then its being used all over the house, as it lets you put your mobile where you never could before. No more leaning it against mugs in the kitchen, or against a plant pot in the garden.It is extremely well built, the clamp part consists of two flat padded sections which means you won't damage any surfaces you attach it to, also it opens large enough to grab most surfaces. The clamping aspect is controlled by twisting a collar which presses the top section down to the bottom section, this means nothing can come apart and get lost.The flexible arm is coated in a tough plastic and seems very durable, you can bend it in just about any shape you require. At the opposite end to the clamp is the grabber that holds your mobile, this is opened with a squeeze of level thats attached to the gabber this consists of a spring which pushes back and this is the mechanism for holding your device. You need to put your mobile in landscape orientation (it grabs the long edges of your phone) so you will need to be careful that it doesn't push the buttons on the edge if that's where they are located. The grabber can be rotated to any 360 angle so you can view you phone in any position you require. The grabber has rubber seating on each of the grabbing parts to ensure a firm grip on your device, so it will not slip out accidentally.I would say this is really a fantastic device for anyone needing to hold a device steady and to have the ability to position it in almost any position you can think of.

Very strong and stable even though I bend the arm constantly. Phone is always incredibly secure and the arm never droops down. Clamps onto most surfaces with ease, great product

Overall it's pretty good! You can fit a wide range of screen sizes in the mount, the the clamp is very wide, accommodating to any situation. It feels very sturdyFew minor cons:- Can be a bit tough to adjust, or to position with precision (springs back into place).- Once set, any touch to the device or shock to the surface it's attached to, will make it wobble forever.- It clamps onto the side of the phone, and personally if I don't set it low enough, it just presses my phone on/off and volume buttons, which can be a bit annoying. Turned it off a few times!- it can't handle the weight of a switch and doesn't stay up

Great product. I can watch Netflix on my iPhone X because my TV is broken. I lie in bed with it attached to the night stand and it’s a solid arm you can move around. I have mini TV setup with this genius little attachment!

The best so far. I'm loving it. Was a bit costly but I think it's worth every penny. Very flexible. The fixing part is the best. That sturdy bar you see above the bed clip is where you hold to loosen or tighten the clip on the bed or table. So nice. The best. 100% recommended

I love it. I paid £19 for this and was advertising £1 savings. My husband thinks it's a little big but it does everything I want it to do. I am on my phone so much right now during Covid lock down. While speaking in group chats, this allows me to go hands free while charging my phone in portrait view. No more trying to prop my phone up whilst the cable is in. The arm is sturdy and can be perfectly moved to get the right viewing angle as I'm also using my phone to watch media programmes. I also do not need to remove my pop socket as the back of the 'cradle' is more open. I have not yet come across a room in my house that the clamp fitting does not stretch to. I have only used my phone in the cradle and feel that it's very secure. Such a handy tool.
