It comes in wide sizes, too, so you can dial it in... I usually by two pairs at a time, so there's no issue swapping-in a new pair when the shoe starts to show age. Also, in the event Cole Hahn stops making it, I want to have am extra pair on hand. They last me over a year before I change them out... they may last longer, but I want to wear shoes that look nice. I put a clear polish on 3-4 times per year... and, again, it's worn 5 days per week to an office, so that's quite a bit of wear - and speaks to the shoe's durability (and comfort).

The shoe looks nice and fits as expected. I only gave this four stars instead of five because the sole is rather thin and clearly is going to wear out fairly soon. I purchased these in August and now by October the wear is significant. Yes, I walk 5+ miles every day in them, but the soles of my Merrills were still ok after two years (some 3,500 miles of walking). I expect that these will have to be replaced early next year. Still at this price one has to question whether in fact it may be better to have four shoes like this at $50 versus a $200 pair of shoes that lasts four times as long.
