I am really disappointed in this purchase! The sand is extremely hard and course and does not flatten and play like other brands we have purchased. It has a warning on the outside of the box that “hands MUST be washed after each use” (emphasis theirs, not mine) and I can smell why. This sand sa like a chemical burn waiting to happen. I had to open my windows to air out the house after only a couple of minutes. Aside from the poor quality product I didn’t even get what I ordered. My son specifically requested blue sand so we could add to his existing box and not have to keep them separated. We got purple. Spend the extra $5-$10 and buy better. This stuff sucks.

It stinks! That’s all my grandsons can say about it. It has to be what they colored it with because the sand that’s not colored doesn’t ever smell like that. We were hoping the smell would go away eventually but NO!

This sand smells toxic and is very dry.
