The Prince Lionheart Seat Saver works very well and provides many benefits! I had some reservations, but was very surprised how well this seat saver works! My initial concerns were how secure the car seat would sit on top of it and whether my car's seat cushions would really be protected. CAR SEAT SECURITY ================= I am using 2 Britax Marathon car seats and the seat saver works fine. By properly tightening the car seat there is no sliding at all. The car seats are just as with the seat saver as without it. (FYI: My tests were done using LATCH to connect the car seats to the the fabric seats of my 2011 Toyota Sienna's 2nd row seats). PROTECTION ========== I was initially concerned that the front, dangling flap would not adequately protect my car's fabric seats from the shoes of my kids as they climbed into their car seats. The semi-rigid material of the seat saver ensures that the flap doesn't move around as kids move around on it. The flap also has enough length to protect your cars' seats even though it seems a bit short in the photo. As an added bonus, the molded shape of the seat saver is actually able to catch and hold some pee if your kid (who is diaper trained) forgets the diaper training while asleep during a long car ride. CONCLUSION ========== This seat saver works very well and looks nice too. After removing the seat saver after a long car trip, the car's seat cushions looked fine.

I had some other brand which were fairly thin and ended up allowing deep dents in my leather seats. Bought these as they are thicker and more rigid which helps in distributing the pressure on the contact points. After a month the areas that initially had moderate imprinting are barely noticeable or gone! The heavier contact points are much less severe or fairly light. Definitely worth it! UPDATE: 10/28/19 Seat protectors are still work amazingly well. I did end up doing slight modification to the set up. Back and seat protectors are connected together by velcro. Due to the pressure points on my kids’ car seats I ended up disconnecting the back portion and turning it upside down. The lower portion of the back protector is wider than the top. Having the back turned upside down ensures that the top pressure points on the car seat are being covered. So there you go. A little MacGuyver-ism to address a minor issue. 5 stars still.

I highly recommend these seatsavers! I registered for one when I was pregnant 4 years ago. We had a relatively new car with leather seats and I did not want the car seat base ruining the leather for resale. We got one of these, installed our infant car seat, and passed the police inspection with flying colors! The police officer even complimented us on the product. It blends in nicely and is made of an attractive, firm material with a non-slip backing. The front is not non-slip and our car seat slides around on it, but no more than the recommended 1" in either direction. Just make sure you put your knee in the car seat and push your weight down onto it when you tighten the LATCH straps. When we switched our daughter's car seat after a year of use, we saw that not only were our leather seats good as new (a little dented, but they reinflated with time) but also how much dirt and food this thing collected! We just shook the tray into the trash can, wiped with a baby wipe, and it was good as new. When we had our second child last year, this was one of the first things we purchased. Now both are doing well in our back seat.

I just had leather installed in the seats of my car so I figured I should buy something to protect them from my baby's car seat. I decided to give this product a try since the Lionheart brand has been very good in my experience with it. This item is fairly large, it will surely cover the seating area where the car seat goes, and a bit more also. I own an Chevrolet Equinox SUV, so I have medium sized space in the back seating area, so for me is not that troublesome. If you own a small car, you might want to rethink this purchase, because this seat saver will definitely take space from the other seating spaces in your car...people would have to seat over part of it, no kidding. It has a gray synthetic mesh underneath to help it adhere to the surface to prevent slippage. I read complaints about this gray material staining the surface underneath...I have not had that experience after a month of use, but were already on cooler climate, so that might explain it since these accidents are related to hot weather. If it happens I'll update this review for sure. Bottom line is that it is a very decent product and does what it is supposed to do, which is protect the seating surface. I would recommend it.

On a recent camping trip our poor son got carsick and unfortunately left us something to clean. This product was amazing. The lips contained the "gift" and our seats were saved. The clean-up was so easy. We have 2 sets, one for my car and one for my husbands. Our carseats are high back and it is good this comes in 2 parts because we take it apart and use the top portion for the highback section to save from dents up top and the bottom is perfect with its lipped design for the bottom part. I have no issues at all installing carseats and getting them to fit nice and snug. This is perfect because when I install my carseats I kneel in them and really shove them tight into the seat. The won't move even a wiggle. But because of that, prior to these seat protectors, I would have huge dents in my seats. With this protector, there isn't any dents in the seats at all. I feel extremely safe having these installed with my carseats. HIGHLY recommended for those oops moments with children, whether it is a nasty surprise or spilled juice or cookie crumbs or just to protect your seats from dents from properly installing your carseats.

I bought the first batch of these for my new BMW, after seeing what the kids' car seats did to my wife's Volvo seats. After using them for eight month in my BMW and not seeing any damage to the leather interior, I bought another couple for my wife's car. The upper surface is a neoprene fabric with the lower being a thicker rubber that does not allow the edges of the car seat base to dig into the car's seat surface. The back is detachable from bottom section, so you can elevate the back to where the car seat touches the car seat headrest, to further protect the leather. An additional function that is nice is that the bottom section is extended past the edge of the seat to stop rubber soles of shoes from scuffing the front of the seat and has a 'cupping' affect to the outter part of the lip to contain spills. Great idea and product!

Now that my son is kicking his feet and winter is here this seat protector is all sorts of a mess. I got this originally to keep food he eats in the car from grinding it the seat or staining it, and to prevent the Car Seat Impression from setting into the fabric. The best part of this I see now is the front flap that covers the area an adults knees bend at has saved my seat from wet feet dripping salt and mud onto the fabric. I can't even describe how gross that area has become from his shoes after walking outside this winter. This is a MUST HAVE if you care about your fabric IMHO. I don't have this for my other kid who is still in the baby carrier seat, but once she is in a full out Car seat I will be getting more of these. The price seems high until you see how much it protects. Install was not hard, but a little annoying. The item has "folds" from shipping and it does not layout nice, so you have to place it in the area and then put the seat on it and move things around until its right. Only takes a few minutes though, over all not bad.

I do not get the Velcro joint between the two pieces. But it holds solid and the pad works great. The bottom actually has a lip around it which will catch a lot of spills that pass through the car seat. Yes, we also said we would not let our kids eat in the car. With us also, that lasted all of two weeks. We all know how nasty those car seats get and how many crumbs we vacuum out of our automobile's seats when we remove the kids seat. Well, this pad should catch a lot of that. Now as to function for which I bought the item. To prevent depressions in my new Ford F150's seats. Works great. The safety seat strapped in tight and firm (no wiggling from side to side). My process involves sitting all 225 pounds of myself in the kids car seat, and pulling on the strap while rocking side to side. I get those things in there tight. Well, last week when I installed the kids seat, it sunk down probably three inches into the Ford truck's rear seat cushion. Today when I put this under the safety seat, it might have depressed all of 3/4 of an inch. And I promise you, it is as tight as ever. Not sure about the front lip of the pad sticking out at the front of the seat. It might provide foot support for the three year old. But, I suspect it might hit the six year old at the back of his calves. May have to tuck the front edge back under. Seriously considering ordering two more for my wife's car even though it is older and already had five years of kids car seat action.

Très pratique avec un enfant, qui forcément un jour ou l'autre vomit ou sème des miettes. Lavable, il a une forme de coupe qui fait que tout reste dedans!! Le petit rabat vers le bas protège le siège des petits pieds qui pendent ou qui escaladent. Il est prévu pour laisser passer les barres isofix. En place depuis 1 an environ, il est toujours parfait, le siège de la voiture en dessous n'est pas déformé. La partie du haut est un poil courte et ne protège pas du haut du siège auto, mais ce n'est pas là que ça s'abime le plus.

Sicher gibts mittlerweile günstigere Sitzschoner. Würde aber dieser nicht mit anderen Sitzschoner tauschen. Wir benutzen für unsere 2 Kindersitze sicher schon 4 Jahren und ist immer noch fast wie neu... Bleicht nicht ab und hilft tatsächlich Auto mit Leder von Druckstellen zu vermeiden! Super!

Fits pefectly under the baby seat. The back side is ok but it could be a bit bigger because it gets a bit short in some vehicles. The bottom side is perfect and it's shaped to retain liquids, etc. Although the manual warns you about the possibility of color transfering from the seatsaver to the vehicle seats under high temperatures, it never happened to me and I'm from one of those countries where you can get 40ª in summer (probably 50º+ inside the vehicle).

Sitzschoner ist sehr robust und auch gut für Babyschalen geeignet, da sich das obere Teil abnehmen lässt. Das einzige Manko...er ist etwas zu Breit! Er geht leicht über den Sitzgurt hinaus, was das Anschnallen etwas schwierig macht.

Love these covers - we have leather car seats and wanted to protect them with car seats. We ended up buying two of these because they’re super easy to take in and out with the car seats, they’re not bulky, and they prevent stretches to the leather where the car seat applies pressure. The back seat will thank you!
