Maxpower Planet Dog Grooming Rake, Deshedding Undercoat Brush, Dogs & Cats

I wish I had bought this many years ago! I have a Pikachu which is long-haired. He has thick hair which leaves clumps of hair throughout my house not to mention the long loose hairs. I used to take him to the dog groomer to be completely shaved due to the fact that I'm highly allergic but they went out of business not to mention the prices have gone through the roof which I can no longer afford. I have been using a brush, but needed to find something that works better! I can't tell you what a huge huge difference it made in just one day! It took some brushing and even though it says not to use on the legs, he has really thick fur on his thighs so been using it daily! It gets easier and easier every time you use it, combs right through! I use to see clumps of hair on my floor, and on his doggy bed everyday. Since the first time I used it, I have not seen one clump of hair on his doggy bed or the floor! I recommend this to anyone that needs to lighten up the dog hair load!

This dog brush is my greatest single purchase of the decade. Maybe longer. I have a Turkish Kangal and a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mix. The hair is unimaginable and that's with daily upkeep and closing off rooms to them. I was becoming desperate. Alas, I hit rock bottom when I found Pyrenees fluff in my oven. After a ton of research I decided on this item but figured it would just become another brush I was going to add to my collection of dog brushes that had let me, my family, my dogs, everybody, down. It removed their undercoats with just one brushing. It isn't sharp and doesn't hurt them nor my wrist. In fact, my pyrenees loves it. I show him the brush and he comes to me. The kangal allows me to brush her until she decides she's over it for a kangal has no master. I just brush faster with her. I can feel the undercoat being removed which oddly gives me a dopamine rush. I use this brush everyday now and it has made all the difference. Buy it. You will not regret it. It has changed my life!

I’m very satisfied with this pet tool. My cat loves it too. He was always shedding hair. I couldn’t pet him without getting his hair all over me. I tried this tool on him and was thrilled that it took all his loose hair off. It also cut the under coat off and left his fur soft and smooth. Now I comb him every other day. He loves the grooming and purrs the whole time. I recommend this product for all people with thick furred pets.

If you have a German Shepherd, you know the shedding is a year-round battle, and when they blow their coat twice a year, it’s on another level! I use this throughout the year, but during heavy shedding season it is an absolute lifesaver. The pictures I included are from two different grooming sessions in the SAME WEEK. Yes, all of that hair came from one dog—and there was still more! This gets deep into her undercoat and removes an unbelievable amount of loose fur before it has a chance to turn into fur tumbleweeds all over my house. It’s easy to use, my dog actually seems to enjoy being groomed with it, and it doesn’t appear to pull or cause her any discomfort. For a double-coated dog, this has made a huge difference in keeping the shedding manageable. I still have to vacuum—she is a German Shepherd, after all—but I'd much rather have this hair in the trash than all over my floors, furniture and clothes. Highly recommend, especially during coat-blowing season. The pictures speak for themselves!

I’m amazed by the amount of hair this gets off, even after I’ve already brushed the pup. It’s effective and seems high-quality and durable. If I have a suggest, it would be a button to release the accumulated hair, as it isn’t always easy to remove by hand (but will also sometimes release in its own while I’m still brushing. The dog trying to eat his own clumps is not good). Unfortunately, my puppy does not enjoy it. He seems to dislike brushing in general, so that’s not necessarily a fault of the product, although I do feel like it was marketed as gentle and something dogs should enjoy.

The only regrets I have is not getting one of these rakes sooner. My poor husky must have been miserable with how much undercoat shed I removed from him. I brush him multiple times a week with a wicker brush and comb but apparently that wasn’t enough because I got a buy one get one husky deal going on and I only got half of his body because of how stubborn he is. After seeing what I got off of him I feel like a bad dog owner now. This brush is super easy to clean, great quality and sturdy and easily to hold size. Removed half of my husky on half of his body. The only thing I recommend is if you have a wooly coat type dog or long fur coat dog. Use a brush first to defangle so there’s no pulling and pain.

I was surprised by how well this comb works. For the price of $13.99 it's a great purchase. The only thing is.............my kitty cat girl seems to be a little bit afraid of it. I laid it on the floor first for her to smell it & get used to it. But, when I started to use it on her the next day, she sort of walked away after the first few strokes. I didn't plow it on her back, but just softly pulled it around by her head and little shoulder area. Hopefully, I can get the knot our of her fur on her back with the detangling spray I also purchased, but, I am going to wait and introduce her to it slowly with precautions. It's a really great product, and even with the little few strokes I used around her neck and head, out came a lot of undercoat. It works, but, will have to get my kitty cat girl some time to get used to it.

Where has this been my entire life!? Absolutely incredible tool, and my dog loves it! Super easy to use, and the amount of hair you get off your dog on the first use will blow your mind. We have a German Shepherd, and I’ve already noticed a huge difference in how much less hair is around the house. Worth every penny and more!

This arrived quickly and oh how good. We have tried at least a dozen different brushes and coat shredders on our German Shepherds over the years, but this is by far the easiest and best grooming brush we have used and bonus our Shepherds loves it or the attention, who cares the results are super fantastic.

Impressed, saw videos and thought it was fake. Got the brush tried it the first time so much hair came off my dog. It doesn't hurt them she actually likes it works fantastic worth the money

I bought this to groom my long-haired cat. It's so effective: knots are removed without causing distress. I don't know how I managed before getting this! I would definitely recommend this tool.

Hatte noch nie eine Unterfell Bürste benutzt. War sehr erstaunt was da alles rausgekämmt werden kann. Hund hat es gut toleriert. Der kauft dieses Gerätes ist eine gute Entscheidung. Mit den zwei unterschiedlichen Kammseiten in unterschiedlichen Abständen der Zinken, für unterschiedlicher Felldichte geeignet. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
