This is definitely a costume piece and not something I would recommend for long-term wear.-if you’re short and plus size (like me), this may present some issues. The boning on the side collapsed while I was wearing it which resulted in some mild bruising on my hips. In the photo you can see that it has bent at a sharp angle where my hips meet my ribs.)-I also have a shorter than average torso, so overall this corset is a few inches long on me.-As I have come to expect with most costume quality corsets, the sizing is absurd.
