UPDATE: 4/14/21: 2 YEAR, 10 MONTHS, 23 DAYS STILL SMOKE-FREE! SAVED $9,258 AND HAVEN'T SMOKED 26,450 CiGS. Yes, it works!!! I still listen to DVD 3 sometimes to help me fall asleep, but I also hang out in dark, smokey dive-bars and never even think about lighting up.UPDATE 11/7/18: I just passed the 6-month mark... smoke-free... and not even thinking about smoking! After failing with the patch and the gum and everything else, I decided to give The Kerry Gaynor Method a try.When the DVDs came, I popped the first one in and was disappointed that it was still going to give me a week of smoking. Okay, I thought to myself. I will just enjoy the last week as a smoker, but three weeks later, I hadn't gotten around to watching DVD #2. Failure again! But, I did have a strong desire to quit smoking, so I started over. This time, I set up an appointment with myself to watch DVD #2, and I made it a point to watch the first DVD a few times over the course of the week. More accurately, the DVD watched me relax and fall asleep. The relaxation methods Kerry uses worked really well for me!Now it's time for DVD #2, and I was excited/nervous to view it. I timed my last pack of cigarettes so I could smoke the last one right before I turned on the DVD. I was completely passed out on the couch by halfway into the session. When the "ding ding ding" woke me up, I was so concerned that I missed the "important stuff" that I watched it again. The same result - completely passed out halfway through with no time to watch it a third time. Then, a few hours later, I realized I hadn't smoked. Holy cow! Was I a non-smoker? I didn't believe it, but on the other hand, I wasn't in a panic about not having any cigarettes in the house, and I wasn't running to the store to buy more. Maybe something did happen???The next few days were difficult. I kept a low profile and didn't leave the house except for work. I watched DVD #2 every day and kept repeating the mantra. And the cravings subsided every time, and every time the cravings disappeared faster and faster. By day 5, I felt free enough to meet my friends at my favorite bar. It's a smoking bar, but I didn't feel the need to smoke at all... even while I was drinking.A few days later it was time to watch DVD #3. Again, I passed out halfway through, watched it again, and watched it every night for the next few nights. By now, I actually felt like I was a non-smoker. Like I just don't smoke. I used to smoke, now I don't smoke. I was a smoker, now I am a non-smoker. How it occurs for me is a complete shift in the context of being a non-smoker. I'm just a non-smoker, and there is no reason to smoke.That was 21 days ago. I have not smoked a single cigarette. (Why would I? I am a non-smoker for life.) I feel great!

Think again
If you want or need a therapist who looks like a cross between a used car salesman and a game show host who can't understand your irrational smoking behavior then this program is for you. I was never hypnotized after watching several times the first week, ( not because I didn't want to be) and never got to the big secret in disc 2 because it was defective and wouldn't play in any DVD player. Had to return it. The first disc did teach me one thing however. If you really want to quit smoking focus on the fact that if you continue you will surely die from it and it won't be pretty. But you don't need this joker telling you that, you can do it all on your own.

It freakin worked!
Watched 1st DVD 4-30-19Watched 2nd DVD 5-7-19Watched 3rd DVD 5-14-19I only kind of wanted to quit a little bit. I was NOT that hell bent on quitting. Welp, it worked. I cannot believe it but after quitting about 20 times using many different tools...INCLUDING hypnosis..this ACTUALLY worked. I am on day 3 of being a non-smoker for life. I had terrible cravings on the patch...using this method I have had one very mild craving. I have not over eaten. Last time I quit I gained 20 lbs in a month. I have lost 2 pounds in 3 days. Do it. Just do it. You can get your money back if it does not work...so just freaking try it.EDIT: 6 days and still going strong. I did not expect the ease of this method. I was SKEPTICAL. I fully expected to get my money back. It works. I will keep updating this review.EDIT: 12 days and a non-smoker for life! I have been listening to supplemental cd during a rough bit of life stuff and it is so helpful! Buy this even if you are not ready. Have it sitting out and on your mind. I cannot recommend this highly enough. I have "quit" so many times and this is really the KEY to being DONE forever. I LOVE my bracelet from the 3rd DVD. I so rarely wear jewelry and am NOT a bracelet person but one day I forgot to put this on in the morning and I was actually SAD about it. lol. I wear it proudly.EDIT: 27 Days. It's so funny, I have had more challenging "life stuff" happen in this time frame and I have not used it as a reason to smoke. It is remarkable. The change in thinking is fantastic. I have gained 4 lbs but I know it will come right back off. In the past, weight gain ALONE was a reason to restart. Not this time. I am thinking DIFFERENTLY and it SHOWS.EDIT: 1 MONTH and 27 days. Still going strong. Working out to fight any weight gain and feeling great. I do sometimes have that feeling that I "miss my filler activity" but it passes very quickly and I am so happy that I bought the DVD's and took the plunge. I will keep coming back to add EDITS even though I know that people can buy this at his website for cheaper. His reviews are not very thorough. Here I can be very specific.

This item met my expectations.
This is probably the 20-something time I've quit smoking and the first time it actually worked. In the past I would quit and hold out for maybe 4-10 days. There was always something that got me to smoke, or maybe those were the excuses I used. The tips that the doctor gave were so logical, I mean, they just made sense and are proving to be effective. Things like not entering into a debate with your inner addict because if this happens you've lost. Being afraid of facing situations where there is pressure to smoke is no longer fearful to me. BINGO!!! It's been 12 days since my last smoke and I even tossed out the ones I had left in the pack. Not smoking is like having a leash removed and having a free life, not a slave to nicotine and big tobacco.
