For the price, this is a nice toilet seat with a good color match (to Kohler Tender Grey). But there is a potential problem using it on a Rialto toilet because the steel bolts that hold the seat to the toilet will wind up sticking into the water inside the toilet tank, and will eventually rust. (The Rialto is an unusual design.) I decided to install it without breaking the torque sensing plastic nuts off the end of the plastic fasteners that secure the bolts. That way the plastic sticks down past the end of each bolt. I packed the open thread space between the end of the bolt and the end of the fastener with vaseline. Then I refilled the toilet tank. Hopefully this will prevent corrosion.

This has got to be the worst experience in toiletries ever. They don't have a color code on the toilet so you have no clue what color it is. I called Bemis who makes the replacement seats, and they sent me 10 different color chips, and none of them match. Not having the color code on the tank is the most ridiculous thing I've heard. You pay $3, 500 for a toilet and you can't get a matching toilet seat ? You must have idiots that work at Kohler. I'd really like to know who said "Let's come up with 12 similar colors, and then not put the color code on the product so they CAN'T match the color if they have to replace the seat if it breaks." GREAT IDEA !

Works perfectly. All plastic construction. Convenient seat removal for easier cleaning in those hard-to-reach spots. Color choice is difficult with sample colors shown over the internet. (I picked the wrong shade of grey). Therefore need to be 100% certain of color choice beforehand through alternate means.

I bought this because the wooden seats in this color are not available anywhere I can find (at a reasonable price as other colors are - I found one for $89.00) works but feels lightweight.

A bit lighter than I was hoping for but functions well. I love the way you just have to tap the lid and it will gently go back down

I ordered this seat because it was in the color I wanted (gray is hard to find). Other seats in this color were uncomfortable and wore out quickly. This seat is sturdy, comfortable and - no more bangs! Even if you give it a push, it slows down and closes quietly. It is also so easy to install, clean and remove - important concerns for my arthritic hands.

This plastic piece doesn’t stay in the seat so the lid slides around. Only lasted about a couple months and now I need to replace it. I won’t buy this again.
