Buy it! Makes silver shine restoration quick and easy.
I recently purchased the Hagerty Instant Silver Dip Cleaner, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! After struggling to maintain the shine on my silver jewelry and utensils, this product has been a game changer. From the moment I used it, I was impressed by how quickly it worked. Just a quick dip in the solution and a wipe with a cotton round and my tarnished silver was transformed into a beautiful, shiny finish. It's incredibly easy to use, and the instructions are straightforward. It does have a strong sulfur smell, it's bad but not too offensive. The size of the bottle is generous, and considering how little product you need for each use, I expect it to last quite a while. Also, the price is very reasonable for the quality and effectiveness of the cleaner.

Amazing Product
I was about to come on here and be all grumpy with this product because it says it’s a dip and that sounded easy, but the instructions clearly say that you are supposed to rub with a cloth to remove tarnish. I have all of this silver jewelry that has been tarnished to the point that I have given up. I’ve tried so many things and nothing works. I even questioned whether the jewelry that my ex-husband gave me was real silver because nothing removed the tarnish. But when I saw that I was supposed to take a cloth to each one of these old pieces of jewelry that I was about to throw away anyway, I got frustrated, poured the solution into a cup and dropped them in out of spite, preparing for whatever disaster might happen. To my utter amazement, the tarnish just disappeared. Even on jewelry that has been tarnished for YEARS. I have tried a lot of other products- this one is easy and works. Just get it.

Works better than I had even hoped
What is this sorcery? Long gone are the days of scrubbing tarnished silver with old used toothbrushes and baking soda and vinegar. It smells awful upon contact with silver and I recommend you use this wearing latex gloves in a well ventilated space or outdoors because it's probably not good to breathe this stuff in. Just my two cents.

Huge improvement
I couldn't get my regular silver cleaner paste to do anything on this little sterling cup, so I decided to give this product a try. At first, I applied it with a cloth, but it didn't seem to make a difference. The smell is quite strong. Then, I poured some of the cleaner into a shallow dish and dipped the edges of the cup into it, which made a significant improvement. There was some residue left behind, so I went back to using my regular paste, which brightened the cup even more.

Astonishing Results!!!
I bought this because I have a LOT of jewelry that is designer yet still only 24k gold plated over sterling silver that has tarnished very badly. Some of the pieces were so bad that I almost threw them away multiple times. I'm SO happy now that I didn't! I used this product on just a few of my necklaces tonight and was blown away! The necklace in the photo is my fav vintage Betsey Johnson necklace but it tarnished so badly that it was pitch black! I couldn't wear it anymore and it was one of the ones that almost got trashed. It looks new again and with very little effort on my part! I was amazed and so so happy! I can wear my favorite necklace again. I'm so excited to see what else it can restore! VERY much recommend to anyone trying to bring back their tarnished jewelry!

Read Instruction Before Buying
This did a not so hot job on my vintage silver plate salt & peppers. But what worried me was the notice on back saying “Avoid contact with stainless steel and other metals”. You are gonna use it in the sink right? And it is made from SS! so where are you gonna use it? I used a plastic tub in my sink & lots of water after to cleanse solution. Did not seem to do anything to the sink, so either not strong enough to do the job or I didn’t’t use enough out of excess caution.

It works!
My Tiffany necklace and bracelet had tarnish because I hadn’t worn it in a while and this brought it back to its natural beauty! I tested it out on a small area with a sponge first and it came off immediately. I hate I didn’t take before pics. Did not work on Alex and Ani bracelets.

Works great!!
I had always used Hagerty’s silver dip but by the end it smelled like a sewer! It got worse every time I used it. This has no smell (until you add silver) so I can use just a little and keep the bottle odour free. I use an empty spice bottle and put just enough in to do the job. So very pleased. …..so it seems to be the same formula as the dip and the jewellery shines up just as beautifully .

Great product
Works well on my gem stone silver rings but you can’t dip them like advertised. I just used a cue tip to clean the silver parts and rinsed well, then polished with a cotton cloth. I did soak my silver chains for a bit, thought they would come out cleaner but maybe a second clean is needed. They are shinier than before. I would buy it again.
