These are easy to install, well made and work to keep the air flowing and the bugs out! We have 3 hatches on our boat - 2 medium sized and 1 large one. They fit both well. It comes with suction cups that we used. It also comes with magnets that stick on permanently which we chose not to use. But we used them for another project. They’re strong. Great purchase.

I ordered the 14"x14" for my 12"x12" roof port. The product fit great. I used the suction cup for the test fit. I haven't had the boat out yet for a real world test, but if the suction cup doesn't hold, they supply and magnet that sticks to your surface. It really does install in a few seconds and has a small storage bag to stow it away when not in use. It twist folds like some some sunshades to store in pouch. I have high expectations. The only con is that it was a little pricey at $30. However, that being said I plan on getting another one for the other port as there doesn't seem to be a better product for my needs. I could through some loose netting over the ports, but I don't think that would work as nearly as well as this product. :-)

The product is actually 23-1/2” wide and it would have been perfect if it was as advertised 24”. I made it work anyway. Simple to use and a good idea.

Like the two other Waterline Design products I ordered (the hatch shade and the windscoop), this works great. It snugs up against the hatch opening and stays put. See the photo. The provided magnet is very strong. Keep it away from magnetic storage devices! When not in use, you curl it up into a much smaller package (much like an automobile windshield sunshade) for storage in the provided case. My only disappointment is that it didn't also come with a suction cup like the shade did, but I can get one at the hardware store. Five stars!

Bug bites, especially noseeums, seem to love me and I have a very strong reaction to their bites. I purchased both the 1405 hatch screens and the 1410 screens for my vertical windows. They work brilliantly for both applications. I do wish I could have purchased a rectangular version for my windows as the screen does overhang a bit, but keeping the bugs out while enjoying the breeze is critically important. I ordered one 1410 just to try it and then recently ordered 3 more to cover all my windows. The second order had new packaging which included two sets of magnets and lines for attaching which will be very useful if needed. I am very happy with this purchase.

Super happy with this product. I used the magnet and it's very easy to put up, take down, and stow (we only need occasionally, so it's nice that they don't take up much space and are easy to use.)

I have purchased this product twice since 2022. The first ones only lasted 17 months. The second ones only lasted 14. This problem is that they are cheaply made with metal that corrodes easily. They start to rust and leave stains on the interior of the hatch almost immediately. Eventually they rust through and crack leaving the screen unusable. They were $38 when I first purchased them. Now they are $53. Not a good value. I contacted the manufacturer and received no response. I would find another option if you’re in a salt water environment. Update: The manufacturer did finally respond and offered a free replacement. I suggested possibly using a plastic coated metal for this product. Unknown if they are actually considering any change to the product. I am currently looking for a better option.

Noi abbiamo un boccaporto tondo ma è perfetto,aderisce bene anche per il tondo,basta fare attenzione al diametro.. Per adesso lo abbiamo attaccato al vetro con la ventosa,ma è dotato anche di sistema calamite. Ottimo prodotto lo consiglio!!
