Lots of compromises, but good ones
Let’s start with the obvious: this is not a Really Right Stuff 3-series pod with an Arca Cube on top—and that’s a good thing. There are times when light weight and compact size trump rock solid stability. For those times, this is an excellent choice at an amazing price made by a quality company. Comes with everything you need in a tripod, including a small ball head with an Arca clamp and a hook for hanging weight or accessories. Folded up, it fits inside a Peak Designs 20L Everyday Pack. I am not a fan of ball heads, so I substituted an Arca L60 leveler, and it worked just fine. I am also not a fan of center columns—and this has a two-stage telescoping column—but the height has to come from somewhere. Again, if you’re driven by weight and size, you’re going to have to take your medicine. On a recent trip to Italy, I carried the PD20L for compactness and discretion. On most days, I carried two Hasselblad X1D bodies, an XCD 135+1.7TC, a Canon TS17, and an XCD 30 and 45. And this tripod. All *inside* the pack. The Hasselblad plus telephoto and TC push the limit on this tripod, but in light-to-no wind, it was fine. It’s easy to jostle, because it’s so light, but using the self-timer and/or a shutter release cable gives it a chance to settle down. Normally, I would carry a much larger, more obvious Shimoda photo backpack, but for discretion and maneuverability in large crowds, this was a great choice. Feels flimsy, but is well made. It won’t take the permanent place of my smallest Novoflex or RRS (I carry the most solid tripod I can fit in my case or backpack), and I am looking forward to comparing it to the incoming Peak Designs Travel Tripod. But it also costs between 1/5 and 1/10 of those other sticks. Compromises and all, that earns it 5 stars.

Great tripod
I just got this tripod and am very impressed with the quality, especially for what I paidVery solid feel, every twist for every knob, moving the legs, the ball head, adjustments on angles, everything feels very smooth.Tripod comes with its own bag and some hex tools to adjust I guess leg movement resistance. Optional adjustment, as it is not needed for setting up the tripod. The legs have a click mechanism. Once you open them up they have a lock that prevents them from opening further unless you push the button on each leg.Leg height adjustments doesnt take much of a twist to lock/unlock. A click at the lock end would be nice though. Just for feedback.Weight is a little hefty IMO. Around 2.5 lbs isnt much, but when hiking long distances this weight will feel like a lot more. The weight max limit on this tripod is around 11lbs. It holds my heaviest lens (70-200 F2.8) without issue. Just be sure to tighten the legs real good, else they might start sliding.

Great light-weight tripod, requires methodical set-up.
Well-built and sturdy light-weight tripod useful for travel and tabletop situations. Takes a lot of time/effort to extend or close legs and tightening has to be done carefully or one leg will shrink somewhere in the middle while one is shooting.

Great brand, quality item, feather light and great weight capacity!
This thing is FABULOUS! Great quality and very solid. I painstakingly researches travel tripods for days and stumbled on to this Amazon listing for the Rollei carbon fiber travel tripod. Specs wise it is literally the lightest travel tripod I could find that holds a decent weight capacity. The tripod is labeled FotoPro exclusively for Rollei. Rollie is a long standing great (German I think) brand. The price was great. I couldn’t be happier!

Nice Definitely Worth Buying
This is an excellent little travel tripod. Folds up smaller than most. Well built solid aluminum construction not thin. Ball head is nice and smooth. Knob locks and unlocks smoothly. Great purchase will have to order more at $20. Comes will a travel bag and extra quick plate.

Wonderful tripod for the price!
I can't believe I got this for under $20. It comes in a little heavy for me at over 2lbs but it is very sturdy, has a ball head and arca-swiss mount, and comes with a carry bag. The tripod is a little hard to get in and out of the bag as it should be larger or just come with a strap.

Good travel tripod for the money.
It's a great light weight tripod for backpacking. I wouldn't recommend it for occasions when you don't need to be concerned about carry weight as due portability it is not as stable as other tripods. You also need to be careful when adjusting the legs because if you can inadvertently remove the sections and possibly loose the adjustment shims within the section.
