Replacement Anode/Mineral Electrode Compatible with Floatron - 1 Anode |1 Basket | 1 Wing-Screw

I took a chance and bought these as I put them in a Mineralizer. I drilled and topped side bolt holes. There was about a 32nd” gap between the two.They were about 1/2 to 1/3 the price of the direct replacements. Also, they seem to be of a better quality alloy of copper an silver.Now to see how long they last.

A lot smaller than the original. It will probably not last as long because of that, but it attached well and is doing what it is supposed to do.

The add shows two electrodes, they sent one. They did correct that, but the electrodes are too short for the Floatron.

Seemed like a nice product until I tried to install it in my Floatron. It was too short for the outer screen cage to mate properly with the top of the Anode/Electrode. I was able to purchase a longer stainless metric bolt (in place of the wingscrew provided) to make it fit. Time will tell if the stainless bolt effects performance. (Seemed easier than trying to return the units)

The copper rod was smaller in diameter than the ones I received for other sources. The first time I went to clean it the rod was half corroded away.

The anode is smaller in diameter than the original. Therefore it will nit last as long. I dislike that.
