Mega Construx GCN13 Pokémon Piplup vs Turtwig (Amazon Exclusive), Multi-Colour

I didn’t know how this would be as it’s not “real” Lego but it’s great and my son absolutely loves that’s it’s pokemon.

Really cute set! Super easy but super fun to build and it just looks amazing! The Pokemon minifigures in particular just look so good!

I was sent the GCN12 Chimchar vs Pikachu rather than the GCN13 Piplup vs Turtwig that was advertised, but quite happy wi5 what I got, especially as I actually recognise Pikachu! Got this set for my Pokemon mad grandson and he will be very happy. He already has some of these Amazon exclusive Pokemon sets and has enjoyed them very much. The packaging they arrive in looks very similar to the packaging used by Lego products. It certainly looks good enough for a nice gift for any Lego or Pokemon fan. Unlike some of the cheaper brands Mega Construx seems to fit nicely with Lego so this vastly increases the play value. Also, since there are a number of these kits kids can collect them all and get into really complex games. The Pokemon are cute (not scary like some Pokemon toys) and immediately recognisable. This set contained 127 pieces split up into a number of plastic (grr) bags so a bit daunting for me, but absolutely no problem for my 7 year old Lego user. We’ve made a simple board game, similar to snakes and ladders and use the figures as counters when my grandson isn’t in the mood to build things. Very happy to recommend this product, I’ll be looking out for more.

Lovely set easy to construct. Bright vivid colours and some small prices. I would worry about the age recommendations as it states from 3 upwards. I’m not sure that a 3 year old wouldn’t be able to pick up a piece and slip it in their mouth even with supervision.Nonetheless lovely

The quality control of the pieces for Mega Construx is not the same as you get from Lego - where not only is it incredibly rare to find a piece missing and you are more likely to have extras than less - but if you do find it is missing a piece, then it is really easy to report and they will send the missing piece to you. Not so with Mega Construx - it's really hard to find out how to contact them and you do get the piece eventually - but for my children, the wait is too long and disappointing when making a set - the initial joy is definitely muted when you have to put the build on hold.We were able to build the figures, but we couldn't finish the surroundings until the missing piece arrived. It has arrived and we have completed the set and it is cute, with the hammock slung between the palm trees - either for incorporating into battle or for use afterwards!

I was looking all over for this mega construx set as a gift for my nephew! So glad I found it on here! He is going to be so excited!

Das Pokemon- Set ist gut u vor allem komplett angekommen. Mein Enkel baute es gleich auf und war über sein Geschenk sehr glücklich. Die Wasserfläche ist sehr hübsch und die Pflanzen und Figuren passen super zusammen.
