The media could not be loaded. This is my forth camera, I now have two in the front and two in the back of the house. And I'd say that this is up there with the best of them. I can't get this to work with CamHi (yet), but that's about the only downside. Installation was straightforward, download the app, a short registration process, and enter your wifi password. Turn on the camera and move the phone in front of the camera so it can read the QR Code, and you're done. No fuss, no router connections, and no battling with settings. The only cable is the power lead, which has a convenient break connector towards the camera end so you can feed it through a wall. Anyone with very basic skills could extend this simply, with a length of 12v cable and a couple of connector blocks, but it wasn't necessary for me as it's place quite close to a socket. Video quality is very good, expecially in HD, and the sensor detects movement to a sensible distance. To top it off, the price was lower than each of the previous three camera too, and the SmartLife app works with a whole array of devices, such as plugs, lights and so on.

Setting up the camera, once you have installed it on your wall/ door / wherever is easy and intuitive. Smart life app is very good. Basics are all there- view, speak, listen, record etc. The camera can record locally to a mini SD card. It will format the card in a few second for you. The camera works very well with Alexa. In fact, once you link the Alexa app (which you will need to do- so, Echo Shows work with it), you can just open the Alexa App and select cameras. It will allow audio and communication within the Alexa App too. One person was complaining that it doesn’t work on an Amazon Fire tablet. It works perfectly well through the Alexa (on Amazon Fire). Just say ‘show me the front door’ - it will. So, perfect day/ night picture. Perfect companion app. Perfect integration with the Alexa App and Amazon products like the Amazon Fire / Echo Shows. £40.00 as well! I want more.

Bought this camera to replace one which failed after many years of use due to water ingress. I liked the idea of having a camera that worked with my Echo Show and thought I would try this relatively inexpensive camera. Installation was very easy as the camera doesn't need a large diameter hole for the power lead. Set up with the app and Alexa was also very easy. The picture quality is excellent as is the night vision a and motion detection. I didn't want a subscription service so I fitted a 64gb micro SD card.Very pleased with this camera and it looks quite neat on the outside wall.

The camera was easy to fit and set up and works well with the app.However !! The cable from the camera is split and joined with a jack socket /plug to the power pack. This section of cable is very short. As this is an outside camera I feel that the lead should be much much longer allowing the join in the cable from the camera to be taken inside before joining with the power plug.Keeping in mind that most people will set the camera reasonably high and a fair distance from a power socket, there simply isnt enough cable to allow a neat fitting.The camera triggers with movement well but not a lot of range to it. I pointed the camera up the garden to keep an eye on the garage however it will not trigger at the garage only closer to the camera.Overall not bad for the price but it does have its limitations.I would buy one again if -1) Power socket was near to the camera and I could route the jack plug inside2) I was wanting to monitor close to the camera

A good piece of equipment - I need some help please - the playback is stuck on the midnight recording and will not play back on my Android. Also the second camera is flickering dim. Any advice please, or could it now be faulty.Please respond.Thank you.After a few days of awaiting a reply from the seller - I have to report that this item is faulty. The playback function is not playing back - it is stuck on midnight time and won’t allow to playback on my Android phone, so i’m unable to playback any recordings. Please advise on how to return and obtain a replacement. Thank you.

Picture quality isn’t great at night time. During day is ok.Problem is that it disconnects too often when there are WiFi issues. You then have to climb up a ladder to press the reset button. Like your going to do that in the winter - right?Secondly turn notifications off as with others I have bought everything seems to set this damn thing off.Only keeping it as a deterrent.Software for reviewing images on the phone is glitchy too with no support whatsoever. Give up and don’t buy.Get a hardwired system. Forget WiFi cameras.

Great camera for placing above doors. Got two of these for driveway and garden. It connects on 2.4gh to your router and the range is very good. Wide angle covers good area. Picture quality is good enough for short distance ie above the doors entrance easy to connect. I installed 64gb sd card for 24/7 recording and get around 9 full days or can upgrade to 128gb if needed and every second can be viewed through the app anywhere even through mobile network. There are two recording options available 24/7 and motion is detection which records small videos every detection only one option can be selected. There is seperate option to switch on for taking pictures when motion is detected. All work simultaneously. Recording continues on sdcard even when network is down which can be viewed later on when the network is working again.

Great for the price. Previously we had 3 cameras for outdoor, but the picture was not clear and you hardly could understand, what's going on around. After I have bought this type of camera- I must admit that is way much better in terms of the quality of the video, clear pictures. It is also very easy to install. Get it done in minutes. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family. Worth money.
