My little one likes anything that squeaks and she can put in her mouth. This book fits both scenarios. I found after a few days though that the pages were sticking together from her saliva. I ran it through the dishwasher on the top shelf and took it out before the "heated drying" phase and it was perfect again. Her nursery is whale theme so it fits in perfectly there too.

Our son absolutely enjoys this book at bath time. He loves to hold it, shake it, squeeze the squeaker, and suck on it.This has helped make bath time even more enjoyable. Definitely recommend this!

The baby loved his personal book. That is a wonderful idea for him to have books he alone can read (like his big sister).

I bought 3 different books by the same author, I got one of these as a gift as well. My little one uses these as a great teething book. We don't use them in the bath but good to hook them to the stroller and easy to clean.

I am a speech -language pathologist, and read LOTS of books to kids. This one is extremely popular with babies, and two of my four month old babies love it.

The book arrived in its store packaging - nice, crisp plastic with a brightly colored rectangle tab at the top sealing it shut (where they'd hang it from a rack in a store display, you know?). Inside this nice, clear packaging - sealed in with the book - were a number and variety of dead bugs. I immediately tossed the thing into a ziploc, put it back in the shipping envelope, and sealed it with packing tape (yes, the bugs appeared to be dead - some were smashed - but what if they laid eggs or something before meeting their untimely demise??) Will be generating a return receipt FORTHWITH.I just want to reiterate that the bonus critters were in the store packaging, not the shipping container (which was pristine). When I think about the fact that I bought this specifically for a baby who loves to chew on books.... eeeurgh.

This is so cute! It's a great gift for a bath - themed baby shower gift. It's plastic, but still soft, bright & colorful.

I bought this as a gift for my god daughter, who's 13 months. She greatly enjoys this in the bath and she finds the squeak very entertaining. She's thrown it around, chewed on it and taken it outside. A quick wipe takes all the dirt off and it's good as new. Book is completely waterproof.

My daughter loves the pictures inside the book, and it's quite durable as she chews on it all the time. The squeak toy in the front page is not easy to get to but other than that this is the perfect bath toy for babies who love to look at books!

Amazing book, excellent quality and totally waterproof. My baby loves to play with it during bath time. However the picture is a bit deceiving. It's a very small book
