Ran for 24 hours then would not hold on cool
Ive owned a Prem i air 9000 for two years worked perfectly Purchased the 12000 ran for a day then looked like its CPU fried as it would not set to a tempreture and cool just kept dumping the cooling function . Such a shame when you order something so large and heavy you'll never return it because of the hassle and it cost over £400

Whilst I think the machine is very good as far as cooling is concerned it is quite noisy, however to be fair this is a 12000btu so will be more noisy than most. The one VERY badly made feature in my opinion is the black control pad . It is not a solid fixed one that I would expect with a unit at well over £400 but simply a plastic stick on one that is ill fitting and coming away in places, this really is a bad case of the manufacturers doing what my late Mother called, "Spoiling the ship for a hapeth of Tar", in this day and age with modern technology better than ever before surely this could have been a properly fixed control pad or in deed a touch pad, come on, you don't see this even on the cheapest of washing machines these days let alone a luxury machine such as this. Shame on the manufacturers. One other concern is that in the instructions it shows 4 primary air filters, 2 top and 2 bottom and how to remove and clean them. Mine however has only 2 top ones. I called the number provided with enclosed paperwork, they told me they would contact the manufacturer, or maybe supplier, i'm not sure, but i did very quickly get a call back from them to say that on enquiring they were told it does not need the bottom 2 filters. Why then does it not only show them on the instructions but even how to remove and clean them. I ask myself, is this merely, as with the stick on control pad, simply another way of saving a couple of £'s or does the machine really not require them. If that is the case then again, why, not only tell and show you in the instructions how to remove and clean them, but even have the slots on the machine into which they would fit. all this having being said, and whilst for me a large question mark still remains on the bottom filters issue, the only main complaint I have is the what i deem to be, a shoddy touch pad, as for performance, wow, fantastic cooling. The only reasons I give this appliance an overall rating of 4 is because of the touch pad and the questionable issue over bottom filters.
