Violet Mackerel's Possible Friend

I am 8. In this book, Violet moves to a new house. She makes a mistake thatleads to her making friends with another girl, Rose. Rose has a clean house and a lovely dollhouse. Violet's house is messy because she only just moved in, and her dollhouse was made in a shoebox. However, she owns lots of rare and beautiful things as well, such as a blue china bird. Rose is also impressed by the knitted toadstools and homemade yogurt of Violet's house. What will happen next?I love this book. It has beautiful descriptions and cute art. I read it over and over again. For some reason I never get tired of reading this wonderful book.

Best wholesome book for the entire family! We love to read it to our 5 year old and can't stop reading it. It is so engaging and beautifully written.

Book was fun to read.

My 5 year old loves Violet Mackerel! This is one of the cuter stories. It's so sweet, but they also go through challenges, and the main character has complex emotions, which is unusual for most books targeted toward this age. I love them, and my daughter does too!

I have enjoyed reading several from this series. They teach inspiring lessons for my daughter, and I enjoy reading them with her.
