Good Directions 8807PG Hummingbird Garden Weathervane, Polished Copper with Garden Pole

The weather vane was beautiful and arrived in a well-packed package. I got the one with a garden pole. The garden pole appeared okay until I started screwing the poles together. The paint came off when I was screwing the poles together in the area where the poles joined. Additionally, I have hard clay soil so the directions suggested stepping on the pole to put it in the ground. That did not work for me. While I was attempting to adjust the garden pole the 90-degree support bar appeared to be bending away from the main pole. I was afraid to push it down any further for fear it would snap off. The problem I had was trying to get the garden pole level so the hummingbird would move with the wind. The garden pole was not cooperating with allowing me to level the hummingbird to allow it to swing freely.I contacted the company and they have offered to replace the pole. I accepted their offer and should have a replacement pole soon. I put the whole thing together and you can see from the pictures how it looks. There is a lifetime warranty on this item so I feel comfortable recommending it to others (four stars).

I didn't want to buy something cheap, and we have a hummingbird theme at our house. The weathervane is beautiful and well made. The hummingbird at the top is a real conversation piece.

I have lots of hummingbirds so this works perfectly in my garden. I mounted it on 4x4 post. It is very solid and heavy. The reason why I took off 1 star is because I had trouble tightening the screw that attaches ornament rod to lower post. The rod’s diameter is slightly too large so the screw was not able to thread to tighten up. I didn’t want to return so I use a small file on the solid rod at location of screw attachment. I filed enough so the shape on the rod went from O to D. Just enough metal was filed so screw could go in a few threads to tighten. Problem solved! 👍

Easy to assemble and looks so good atop a cupola my husband built on my garden shed!

I am really happy I ordered the Hummingbird Weather Vane. We live in Florida and have a pump house in our front yard. I wanted something to give the pump house a nice look. We attached the Weather Vane on top of the pump house roof and it looks wonderful!! Very well made. We're very happy with our decision.

I was impressed with the quality of the construction and materials used in this weather vane and how striking it looks on my wife's studio. This does require that you purchase a separate bracket to mount it on. I went with a wall type bracket in lieu of a roof bracket. I am looking forward to how the copper patina will make this look as it ages. Very easy to assemble and comes in a package with lots of protection to prevent damage. Would recommend this weather vane.

Vary pretty, it was a little y’all for my taste so I just removed one of the iron pole sections to make it sit a little lower. I really love it!

Lovely addition to our garden fence just wish compass points were larger size and that base colour (black) was copper or bronze to match rest of weather vane

Great addition to our back yard patio. It has now turned darker, aging beautifully and the patina looks great. It works as it should, easy to assemble and, I highly recommend.
