Commentary: Good medium sized shelf for the home office. The dimensions are accurate and this fit pretty well with my home. Beige carpet and tan walls with a white roof went okay with the wooden finish. I was very impressed with the instructions and the parts and pieces. The packaging was meant to protect the item and came in VERY compact but good package. Impressive. The shelf seems sturdy enough and I piled a bunch of binders and books on it already since it feels sturdy. The powdered metal frame is good and doesn't show rust or missed welds. Which is all positive.Looks: Looks okay, I would not put this somewhere like the living room. I keep it in my home office and it barely makes the cut, a little "college apartment" looking I think so nothing upscale.Size: It is the right size like I said for medium use. This shelf will not dominate the wall. The tope shelf is eye level which I like, though I could have used one more level I think and I would have been happier. The frame is not too wide so perhaps this is a good thing.Instructions: Excellent.Assembly: Easy... 30 minutes with a screw driver and 1 person. All the holes matched up and fit. Everything labeled clearly with stickers (remove of course after assembling). Plenty of extra parts.Packaging: Superb.Conclusion: I would purchase another. I wish there were more color options and possibly an enclosed one to put in the living room. But the price point is fantastic for this product. If you're in college or your starter home, this is an awesome buy at this price point.

Same exact bookshelf was listed on a different retailers website (under a different manufacturer name, strangely enough), for 1.5x the price. So glad I found it on Amazon.Easy enough to put together - takes some assembly and patience, but all the hardware, tools, and instructions come with it.I got the tall version of the bookshelf.It is true to the dimensions listed. Narrow, so it hugs the wall nicely, I do like that it comes with wall anchor straps, a necessity if you have kids. All the paint on the metal frame was in perfect condition, no blemishes or issues. The shelves are textured woodgrain look laminate, in a light weathered color. All the shelves were in perfect condition, although it was a little tough setting them into the frame... a couple of them rubbed on the frame when settling them into the shelf, but it's no biggie.Very happy. Would buy again in a heartbeat!

It’s as sturdy as expected. After all this isn’t wrought iron or real wood. It’s going to serve our preteen for a couple years so we will get our moneys worth. Smaller than I thought but I didn’t expect much bigger either. Not disappointed at all and the faux wood shelves look better than I expected them to. Overall we are pleased.

One of the pieces of the outer frame wasn't drilled properly. I called the customer service number and was almost immediately connected to a helpful person who arranged to send a replacement. I was able to assemble the shelves temporarily without making the connections through the missing holes, thanks to a supply of small c-clamps. The packaging was sturdy and well-cushioned by structures of corrugated cardboard. The steel structural components are light but strong. They're easy to put together with the provided Allen-head machine screws and wrench. After the delivery of the replacement piece, I completed the installation and loaded the shelf completely full of heavy textbooks and reference works. It's sturdy and stable. In summary, an excellent product, great value.

I love it! The size is perfect. Its not too big/small for the space I needed it and the distance between the shelves is also good. I use mine as a tiered plant shelf/bookcase and it looks wonderful. It's very sturdy for its size and the selves are made of real/quality wood not those faux cardboard type. Not too difficult to assemble either though you will need a screw driver to screw on the shelves to the frame. Overall a great purchase well worth the money!

This is a great shelf. The build feels great and it is sturdy. I'm currently using it in my home office to store and display items, and it's doing great. Needed something with better depth and a very simple boxy shelf, and this was just perfect.

As young adults in our first apartment, my husband & I are always on the lookout for high quality, inexpensive furniture. But as many know, high quality & inexpensive don’t often come hand in hand.That is why I love this bookshelf so much! It is stylish & study without costing an arm & a leg. The modern, industrial style looks great in our living room, and I can honestly say it would look good in many settings!Building the product took me about 30 minutes, and it was straightforward. Having two people build may speed up the process, but I did just fine on my own!As with any piece of furniture, I recommend measuring your desired area before purchasing the item, so that you can ensure it meets your expectations. I recommend this item!

They looked bigger in the photos but they’re quite small. I got it to match my tv console area but I love them. I ordered two and one that I got was kinda wobbly but it’s fine.

For the price a stylish industrial style shelving unit. Went together within 30 minutes and looks stylish and very functional. No complaints 🙂

The shelving unit, when assembled is of great quality and would be expected to last for many, many years. The wood grain over particle board is also quite nice looking.
