I’ve given these shoes 5 stars even though I had to return them as I felt the quality and design was excellent. I am a good size 9 but it seems these days that what used to be an 8 is now classed as size 9. You have no idea how difficult it is to get large sized shoes with plenty of character and you could say I was distraught at having to return them. As others have said they are very rounded so plenty of room to stretch your toes. (Sadly not mine). They are made of a canvassy cotton type fabric that appears to have been treated to make it very smooth and silky. The colours are quite bright but that’s why I liked them. They will certainly get comments from people when you are wearing them. In fact they feel lovely. Of course I cannot comment on wearability or longevity but trust me, if they had fitted I would have bought more pairs even though they are on the expensive side. If you are the type of person who likes quirky designs then this range of shoes would be perfect for you. I also loved the packaging which is a like a chocolate milk carton. Such fun.

I was a little hesitant at buying these at the price as they seemed to be not a lot for a lot. Holy Mac & Cheese was I happy that I thought what the heck and did. They go with EVERYTHING. You can dress up or down. They fit perfectly, feeling like a ballets slipper but with more stamina. The spider and web patterns are so intricate and so lovely that my OCD overlooks the fact my feet wear different looking shoes. I can walk and dance for ever in them without any rubbing, slipping or chafing and I’m sure if I had the energy I’d be able to run in them too. They are so soft to touch and so comfy to wear with or without socks/tights. Highly recommend you get these shoes even if you don’t need them!

These shoes are so cute. I have a wide foot and can sometimes find it difficult to find sandals that don't make me look like a duck. The size 7UK are slightly loose but when the strap is tightened they are comfortable. I tried the size 6UK but my toe was at the top of the shoe and though the shoes are soft there is not much give in them so I thought going for the bigger shoe would be more comfortable. It is likely my feet will swell in the heat so that is another reason for sizing up. Should you need any help the customer service staff in Hot Chocolate Design are most helpful. I ordered through Amazon and directly from Hot Chocolate Design. The Amazon Prime delivery was faster but there are fewer options which is a shame as there is a huge selection of designs. I am also hoping that the company will begin shipping to Asia as at the moment they seem to be focusing on Europe and the North America. The pair I want next are the ones with the music symbols and the map of the world. I have a feeling that like other customers I may become a collector :-).

I love these shoes. It's really hard to find shoes that are actually foot-shaped at the front, like these ones are. (Why most shoes are symmetrical is beyond me - unless some genetic quirk has resulted in your third toe being your big toe, they just don't fit properly!) The fact that they are also so finangling cute is just the icing on the cake. I wanted these shoes from the moment I saw them, but the hefty price tag put me off a little, as did my indecision about which size to order. I have wide feet and usually take a (uk) size 7, but as some reviews were advising to go up a size, I wasn't sure which to get. In the end I measured my feet (25cm) and went for the 25.7cm ones, which are my usual size 7. They fit well, with just a little wiggle room (enough to accommodate a thin pair of socks). The offer of 15% discount sealed the deal. They arrived beautifully packaged and went straight on my feet. They are incredibly comfortable to wear. The soles are rubber and the upper is made from fabric, so I'm not sure how well they will hold up when out and about in the rain. To be honest, if I had seen these in a shop I don't think I would have bought them, even with the discount. But I suppose the point is you DON'T see shoes like this in the shops, so you're not going to see half a dozen people wearing the same ones when you go out in them. I'd give the product itself 5 stars, but I dropped one here purely because of the price being so high. Having said that, I do love these shoes and if they were a bit cheaper I'd have several pairs in different designs by now. As it is, I've had to settle for just one more pair (at full price too!) So go on, treat yourself!

As the mother of Lucifer (literally my son's name) I thought these were the perfect shoes for me. Although I do not have cloven feet, I have horrible size 8's with no toes (imagine the Hulk's feet and that's as close as you'll get) I normally live in boots. With all this hot weather I needed something that would be cooler but also fit as by the time I get the width they are then usually too long. These are fantastic as you can adjust this with the strap. I was slightly put off by the faux fur but this comes off on a velcro loop so that was a bonus. Beautiful design, very comfortable and highly recommended!

These shoes are stunning! Very well made; I will definitely order another pair. They are not too high and are very confortable due to the padding, so I don't think I'll have any problems walking in them. Only issue is I ordered a size 5 and they sent a size 4. The shoes must be generously proportioned because they fit, so I'm not going to send them back. I'm between size 4.5 and 5; I have never been able to fit in a 4 previously.

I love these shoes! I keep using the excuse of 'breaking them in' as a reason to be over glamorous in my footwear choice. I was surprised how comfy they were from first try and was a bit wary of the soles being plastic/rubber and likely to be not durable. However once on they feel like a similar of flats I have (by Crocs) which have lasted a good while so I am hopeful. I have wide feet and am usually a 6.5 uk size so Went for a 7 and they fit fine. The longest I've worn them is around 4 hours where my feet did start to 'slip down' the incline a bit to become a little uncomfortable, but a quick break and readjust and it was ok. Design wise they are perfection! I have a bunch of very jealous friends and have had great compliment from strangers.

These are so cute! Even cuter in person. But they are bright white. Be prepared to only wear them on sunny days :) I have two different pair from this company and i never wear them that i dont get a compliment

So cute! So comfortable! Love these. Came in a cute "chocolate milk" carton box, fit well (a little roomy if anything, but didn't slide off my feet. This brand of shoes is fantastic because the upper is made of fabric and the toe part is roomy; very comfortable for my bunion, which doesn't tolerate many shoes. Not sure how well they will wear over time, but it is worth it to have a shoe that I can walk to work in. For anyone in need of arch support, these shoes are pretty minimal in that regard and would probably not provide the support needed. Definitely will buy another pair when these wear out.

These shoes are adorable! They are quite comfortable, though I think it will be much better with an added innersole. I am not a young person, so I'm much more concerned about the comfort and health of my feet. I wouldn't go hiking in them, but wearing them out and about will be FUN! I bought two pairs of these Hot Chocolate shoes and I am keeping both. I typically wear 81/2....so I ordered 9.........not taking the time to measure my foot. When I received the shoes, they seemed a tiny bit big, so I measured my foot size. Sure enough the measruement indicated 8 was the proper size. But I added an innersole....and it fit fine and was so much more support and cushy. So in the end, I"m glad I ordered the 9 instead of the 8. I suggest you measure and decide whether you will add an innersole to help you decide the proper size for you.

I do wish they had half sizes. I would definitely go a size up. I bought the bulldog cuties but the bones rip right off. I returned a pair that came broken and bought another. I guess I just have to be super aware not to hit the shoes together or on anything else.

LOVE THESE SHOES!!! Bought these for a gift.too big for me or I would have kept them!!! Will be ordering several pair for myself after Christmas. I'm a comedian and love your styles! The quality and price are such a bargain! Can't wait to shop for ME!!!
