Oasis Wedding Belle Box of 6 Bouquet Holders - Grande Slant Handle

I ordered this to achieve to loose modern garden bouquet for my daughter's wedding this Saturday. Before buying it I of course read the negative reviews so I can be prepared. I did a test run, I used heavy flowers like sunflowers, secured by 2 wood picks, used hydrangeas to see if the oasis will give it enough water, and many green branches, to cover the oasis, until I cannot fit anymore, to test the weight and integrity of the Oasis, the handle and the plastic cage holding the oasis, which were criticized in the negative reviews. It was heavy with water to start with. BTW, I also used the recommended glue and applied it to the side of the stems. Once done, I paraded it in the house, testing it, I put it down up, turned around , up and down the stairs, running the hallway. It held up! The next morning, the hydrangea looked thirsty but the bouquet was still intact, repeated the test. The oasis did not fall or crumble, the holder held the weight, the plastic cage did not snap. I am now confident that on Saturday, this product will hold the actual bouquet that will be lighter. Also, I will replace hydrangeas with silk hydrangeas tied to wooden picks.

I was able to make this beautiful bouquet with these amazing little holders. I will purchase theses again!

Smaller than expected and handles looked cloudy

I had used these to build my bridesmaids bouquets for my wedding back in September. And while the size and shape were perfect, the green foam cannot grip fake flowers very well! I had to use a little bit of hot glue to help keep everything together and some flowers still managed to fall out the day of the wedding.

The handles are very thin, the foam is not suitable for artificial flowers. I used one so I'm stuck with them. Very disappointed!

these were purchased to provide a base for bridesmaid bouquets. They are really too small to hold more than just a few flowers. They also fall apart.
