Simply turn the sensitivity knob to the Sprinkler setting to enable a continuous spray. Safety Warning Keep Away from Pregnant Women and pets. Review: Great Raccoon and Cat Repellent - Raccoon were ripping out the sod to get to the grubs. Once I put this in place, the raccoons stopped. My other issue was my neighbour’s cat which kept on using my yard for its personal litter. Once is put this on, the cat litter stopped….I highly recommend a den will buy another one in the winter when the price drops significantly. Review: Not for small areas - Really good and works very well. but don't use it for small areas. on the lowest configuration, the small splashes can reach about 4m, and for me it's hitting a glass door which is bad for me, but the product itself is amazing ## Features - Naturally Repels – Repels nuisance animals such as birds, cats, chipmunks, deer, dogs, groundhogs, opossums, rabbits, raccoons, skunks, and squirrels - Detects & Deters – The device releases a startling surge of water to scare animals away and conditions them to avoid the area in the future - Motion-Activated – An infrared sensor detects animal heat and movement within 100 feet, triggering the device to spray the invader - Multiple Settings – 4 sensitivity settings allow you to adjust for your target animal, or the continuous spray setting allows for use as a sprinkler - Eco-Friendly Design – The motion-activated repellent uses only 2-3 cups of water per spray, making it economical and environmentally conscious ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B078HK12H8 | | Best Sellers Rank | 271,364 in Garden ( See Top 100 in Garden ) 2,002 in Pet & Wild Animal Control | | Brand | Havahart | | Brand Name | Havahart | | Colour | green | | Customer Reviews | 3.7 out of 5 stars 5,104 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00036348052777 | | Included Components | Motion-Activated Sprinkler | | Is Electric | No | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 14.5L x 10.2W x 27.3H centimetres | | Item Type Name | Animal Repellent & Sprinkler | | Item Weight | 630 g | | Item weight | 630 g | | Manufacturer | Woodstream | | Manufacturer Part Number | 5277 | | Material | Plastic Metal | | Material Type | Plastic Metal | | Maximum Range | 100 Feet | | Model Number | 5277 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Product dimensions | 14.5L x 10.2W x 27.3H centimetres | | Recommended Uses For Product | Garden | | Style | Garden | | Style Name | Garden | | Target Species | Chipmunk | | UPC | 036348052777 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Havahart - **Colour:** green - **Is electric:** No - **Item weight:** 630 g - **Material:** Plastic Metal - **Number of pieces:** 1 - **Product dimensions:** 14.5L x 10.2W x 27.3H centimetres - **Recommended uses for product:** Garden - **Style:** Garden - **Target species:** Chipmunk ## Images ![5277 Critter Ridder Motion Activated Animal Repellent and Sprinkler - Repel Cats, Dogs, Chipmunks, Groundhogs, Squirrels, Skunks, Deer, and More - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81cPeoOfneL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this work well with Pigeons? I have a spa they wont leave alone** A: It has 6 settings... OFF, 1,2,3, 4,ON. I wanted to scare a racoon...I set it for 4...high senor. Birds set it off. I am happy with this product...just aim it correctly. It will work on a bird...I suspect on "4" an ant may set it off!!!! But that's what you want in the beginning. I would buy this product again. **Q: Can you adjust the spray range? I just need it to cover an area of 10’.** A: Yes spray adjust is a knob on top you turn. **Q: Has a prop 65 warning, so maybe I shouldn't let it spray water on my vegetable garden, but there's no way to assess the risk, so that's fun. ?** A: If a device contains any amount of about 900 different chemicals they have to contain that warning. Problem is that there is no threshold for this warning label. Everything in this world is about toxicity not just whether it contains the molecule. If you have too much of anything it can kill you. Too much water, too many bananas etc. This product probably contains PVC which requires the label. On the flip side, PVC is suitable for drinking water inlets. The prop 65 warning may require you to do some research but like most things it was implemented with a good intention but the execution is less then desirable. It's always your choice but personally I spray this over my vulnerable vegetable garden. I am more concerned about bird poop on my veggies then I am about the water that comes out of this sprayer or my garden house. The garden hose that sits in the hot sun probably has more dangerous elements then this sprayer but I'd rather have fresh organic veggies then have them be eaten by critters and have to purchase those veggies at stores. **Q: Does this work at repelling random children?** A: That depends on whether or not the children enjoy playing in a sprinkler. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Raccoon and Cat Repellent *by A***R on 26 June 2026* Raccoon were ripping out the sod to get to the grubs.
