A little flimsy (not like you would buy at a business store). However, they have worked great for our table when we need to register folks. They have held up to do the job. I do not regret purchasing them.

Shiny smooth black plastic surface. Clip is strong but not too strong to lift comfortably. Because they are so shiny, they finger print easily if used by children or people with oily hands, but I’m quite dry skinned so I didn’t have this problem myself. I used these so that my little nephews could draw at our house without marking our tables/floors. They are great for family games like pictionary. I also use them myself for drawing and writing while standing, or laying on the couch. They look stylish enough to use at work or home, but cheap enough to not feel bad about abusing. Shinier than I thought they’d be but I’m okay with that!
