Great to save me 6 bucks at home versus Starbucks
Great to save me 6 bucks at home versus Starbucks... add two drops and a packet of Swiss Miss and my coffee is good to go! Very good taste. ***update as of October 2019*** I still use this for cooking and consumption but I also now use this for pest prevention! I have a bottle (after a ton of research) with citronella oil, this peppermint extract, water, and (now) clove oil for crickets/fleas. BYE BYE ANTS AND SPIDERS! They stopped coming into my apartment. The crickets are BAD this time of year. But the rains came and cooler weather. The crickets came in droves to south Texas. Light draws them but I have no control of the lights outside of my apartment (on timers) and I have no idea how they are getting in. I don't see gaps under doors or windows... at a loss. This is safe for pets is what I read. Added 10 drops to the existing bottle and... dead cricket found 2 days later. I simply lightly spray along the baseboards and near the dog beds as this should also work on fleas/ticks (used in pet flea prevention) Much rather this to commercial pesticides and poison traps to hide as I have a rambunctious puppy.

So many uses for one small product!
I use this product in many different ways... but not as a flavoring! 1) As a room spray, when someone in my family is sick. I like the idea that the combination of peppermint and alcohol might be killing bacteria and viruses in the air and on surfaces. It may be a placebo effect, but I've noticed that illnesses in my family don't catch quite as much as they used to. 2) As a chest and pillow spray during illness. This helps with the stuffy feeling and with some chest congestion. 3) On body aches, particularly muscle aches. 4) In the mouth, as a breath spray, or particularly for occasional sores (such as a friction sore from a sharp tooth). 5) Diluted with water, in a bigger spray bottle, this is amazing for cooling off on long summer days outdoors. This same dilution can be used to freshen up fabrics in a much more natural and pleasant way than the synthetic stuff you can buy. I'm sure there are more, but despite all this, my house doesn't smell like peppermint from top to bottom! This is just a simple, good quality product with a lot of great uses.

I love this! Great flavor
I love this! Great flavor! I put it in my coffee. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's hard to pour out cleanly and often spills down the side of the bottle. It would be nice to have a pour spout or a dropper lid.

Peppermint . . . .grown in Oregon
I love peppermint . . . I love it in cookies, cakes, candies, and ice cream. I read where some summers, when we have ants . . . .none this year however, but if you do have the little sugar ants come into the kitchen, peppermint on a cotton ball will deter them. It is safe and non-toxic. So I have a supply of natural, Oregon-grown peppermint . . . . .

Heavenly
My last peppermint extract was one of the victims of my last move, so I had been meaning to purchase more, since it seems to come up, a lot, in the recipes I come across. I chose this particular item because of the amazing reviews, and I'm happy to report that I wasn't disappointed. This extract smells amazing, the second you open the bottle. I've used this extract in desserts and body products, and both the taste and scent are amazing. I was worried that the scent would come off as an unpleasantly harsh peppermint (my last one was good, but not great), but it kind of has a sweetness to it that makes it smell heavenly. I used some in a peppermint bark popcorn recipe, over the holidays, and it turned out amazing; if any dish tastes like eating Christmas, that would be it. The small amount of extract that I added infused every bit of it with an intense peppermint flavor. The only downside I can think of is that a dropper is not included, but I don't really mind. I don't think I could ask for a better peppermint extract.

Peppermint but with alcohol... meh
It definitely tastes like peppermint but does not have the consistency of peppermint syrup. A little goes a long way, however I was trying to recreate the StarBucks Medicine Ball. This helps a bit, but peppermint syrup would be better. However, it's hard to find peppermint syrup that doesn't have a crapton of chemicals in it.. Overall for what I needed it to do (Make a Medicine Ball) it was meh. I did use some of it in another spray bottle combined with clove oil for bug spray. it seems to work well in that application too.

Great flavor, great product
I really like this because unlike other extracts it does not have canola oil or other oils mixed in with it. It is just water, alcohol and peppermint oil, not to mention that it is organic! It has a great taste and smell, I have used it to make mint chip ice cream and love it.
