This bag is great for protecting your clubs, which is obviously the most important aspect of a club bag. I was able to put a number of other items in the bag with my clubs. Wheels work great, bag stands upright no problems and rolls great upright. The only downside I could see is how easily the bag scratches during transport. Both my bag and the other guy with the same bag had our bags look like they had been through war after the first flight. Another guy with another brand of hard plastic bag like ours still looked pretty good. But, if you don't care what the outside of your bag looks like, this is a great bag for traveling.

My husband bought this bag for his recent golf trip. He said the bag rolled great through the airport making it easy to transport and maneuver. He has a larger golf bag and every fit without cramming. The padding in the bag protected his golf clubs, and he said they were in perfect condition when he got to his destination. This purchase is a must if you want the peace of mind your golf clubs will make it in one piece.

I was initially drawn to this case with the promise of hard-case protection for my clubs married with convenience of the spinner wheels for easier transport. My disappointment stems from an extreme lack of durability. I went through (2) of these before I gave up and purchased a different product. Each case was taken on a separate trip (read 1 trip) via airline, 4 air legs per trip, and neither one of the cases made it home without significant damage. On the first case, one of the spinner wheels and its respective casing broke and shoved up inside of the case itself, rendering the wheel useless. I returned the case and chalked it up to extremely poor handling by baggage services. On the second case, the rivets attaching the top handle into the case pulled completely out, rendering the top handle (and most important handle) useless. Pictures are attached of each failure. My golf bag contained in the case weighed 32lbs, so it wasn't like I was overloading the case with too much weight. Here's the thing - I completely understand that the baggage services guys throw these bags around. In fact, I would expect them to treat golf bags in particular with an extra level of contempt due to their overall weight and "awkward-ness" as compared to other pieces of luggage. That's the entire reason most people, including myself, invest the extra $$ in a hard case - to compensate for the abuse. I would expect a product that is marketed to be more durable than a soft case to be exactly that - more durable than a soft case. This case, unfortunately, is not. Since I am now past my return window on the second case, I will try to fight with Samsonite to get it taken care of.

I just got back from a trip where I flew with my golf clubs using this case. I can say I am extremely pleased. Not only was I able to fit my golf bag and clubs in this case, but also my golf shoes and an additional pair of sneakers. And even with all of that equipment in the case, it still came in under 50 lbs (which is the limit for checked baggage) (it came in at 47 lbs). The case is hard, so it provides ample protection for your clubs, etc. But the best part.... the ease of moving the case. There are 2 wheels you can roll on if you tilt the case and pull it behind you, but the real magic is in the 4 wheels on the bottom which allow you to easily roll the case in an upright position by pushing it (with not much force either). I was easily able to maneuver this case while pulling a rolling suitcase and wearing a backpack. The only downside I can find with this case is the size when transporting in a vehicle. If you have a large vehicle then this will not be an issue for you. However, if you have a smaller car I can see running out of space especially if you have more than one person with luggage. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this case. I now have no hesitation to take my golf clubs with me when I travel by airplane. As long as you plan ahead to make sure your transportation to and from the airport has plenty of space, this case is wonderful. I certainly would recommend it if you are looking for something to transport golf clubs via air travel.

I really liked this case and have been eye balling it for quite some time. Looks good and is a bit roomier than my current cheap case. The case fits my fully loaded stand bag with some room to spare. I can definitely keep my shoes and maybe a couple dozen balls in the case. Zippers seem sturdy and the plastic is a lot harder than I originally thought which is nice. There't not much give on the plastic so it's pretty hard. When fully loaded up, the balance on the case gets thrown off so it's difficult to just push the case around upright. It will tip over essentially so just be aware of that. There are numerous complaints about this case not being durable so I can't comment on this unfortunately. I'm REALLY hoping this thing stands up to airline travel but only time will tell. My current travel case only survives because I the case bound together with straps. Hoping I don't have to do it with this case. I did purchase this from the Amazon Warehouse as the price was too good to pass up. I got the Used - Very Good condition and I'm really impressed with it. The case came in its original box put inside a larger box. Box condition was negligible so no issue there. The only issue I found with the case was some faint scratch marks and sticker glue. Condition wise, really impressed with the overall quality of the "used" case and can't beat it for the price.

On the 1st trip one of the 4 wheels came off. The seller offered a partial refund which is not at all acceptable given the cost. I have made contact with samsonite but not yet had anything back from them.

Have owned this case for several years now . I never travel without my clubs. This is hands down the best travel case for my clubs. Considering the miles this case has,on it, it has no dents or damage and I have never had any damage to my clubs. It rolls easy upright or at 45 degrees definitely a quality lightweight product. I also bought one for my husband. At the time of purchase, Amazon had the best price.
