I have read and studied other books with David Takle and he is a great author as well as a great man of God Sight. I recommend this book for everyone that would like to be closer to Jesus Christ as savior and He is faithful to always hear you in all prayers. He is never surprised about us our Joy, or in our Pain.

Everyone should get this book if you are not sure about your prayers. WE all have trouble when we pray and this book is wonderful to put you at ease when talking to your Heavenly Father.

Listening to and hearing from God is of huge importance, the privalege and experience of conversational prayer is literally life changing.So I was happy to find this little volume, which summarizes and clarifies much of the best on the subject I've ever read.And it reminds me of how I've approached prayer when I was doing better, reminders which can be hugely valuable.At least sample it. You may be glad you did!

Because Christianity is referred to as a "Relationship" and not a "Religion", I struggled to understand how to have this relationship when it seemed so "one sided". I was always doing the talking through Prayer.David did an excellent job of showing through examples and illustrations what a 2 way dialogue with God actually looks like.

I am very impressed with Dave Tackle and his book. It is honest, sincere and hopeful. I love that it focuses on a deep relationship with Jesus Christ. Anyone who wants to learn more about becoming closer to Christ and developing a prayer life that brings joy and peace could benefit from this book.

I originally bought this for my kindle but there is nothing quit like a hard copy in my view.It is very insightful and makes engaging with God very practical and exciting. Gives the possibilities of breaking out of the routine and mundane to explore our relationship with God at a deeper level.Not to be read in one sitting but to be savoured like a great meal
