Not a paid review, just a honest experience!
I don't like it when people give 1 star because of logistical problems (like shipping issues), so I'm going in with a review on the ACTUAL PRODUCT. I don't write reviews, but this belt is really good... also I'm been wearing it for four months and it's not fair when people give a review with first use. I wasn't paid nor given any product for this review. This is straight-up my honest experience. I am a BMX trick rider (by recreation, but I ride a lot) and I wanted a belt that was sturdy, held well, and didn't have a buckle that pinches or cuts. What interested me in this belt was the price, the buckle system, the material and the buckle itself - it has not disappointed me! Riding my bike, it holds perfectly. After a week or so of breaking in, the "bulkiness" - that some have complained about - that the belt material makes on the buckle is gone and it lays flat when fastened. The belt is super light. I wear it casually, and it holds perfect. I don't tuck in my shirt when I'm casual, but if you do, it looks just fine. I don't like the "tactical" look, but if that's your jam - it's subtle. I was skeptical of the plastic buckle, but it is great. It solves the issues of pinching or cutting a metal buckle may have, and it is much lighter. It holds very well; I have not experienced any slipping. The buckle material is that of typical buckles and fasteners you may find on a backpack or luggage (delrin?). We travelled to London and Paris for two weeks and didn't remove my belt through the metal detector - didn't have to - it's plastic! So this is an added benefit for any travelers. I'd have to say that this is my favorite belt, ever. For anybody who does any kind of physical activity in jeans - this is the one to get - but for the casual wearers, enjoy a lightweight belt that holds well. Also, I can see the practicality of survivalist stuff moreso with this belt than any other buckle system. Having gone on long distance bike/camping cycling adventures I could see applying this belt to other uses. The 511 name lives up to the reputation of quality products.

Perfect for EDC items and Airport Security
Absolutely love this belt. I've been using the 5.11 Tactical belt for 2 years now and it looks brand new to this day. I've also purchased one for my son who is an EMT and my other son who is joining the Air Force. I've used this belt almost daily for 2 years and never go without my concealed carry pistol, knife, and flashlight. All of this and it doesn't have a mark on it. Also, this belt doesn't contain metal so going through airport security is worry free. Can't recommend this enough.

Quality belt
This is a quality belt. I can keep it on to go through a metal detector for security. It adjusts to the size I need. I got my 1st one from Amazon over 5 years ago. I lost some weight a couple years ago and bought a smaller one and another color. I know you can cut them to adjust the size but I did not want to do that in case I would have gain the weight back. I have a collection of leather belt with punched holes that got damage. Get for carrying around stuff on the belt or in your paints. I still use the larger one for yard work.

...
I purchased this belt to hold up a CZ-75 Compact (all steel) in an IWB nylon holster. That's all. No other equipment. The belt performs well at this. For one, the 1.5" size makes it fit most common pants and shorts. I don't think it would fit certain dress pants with small belt loops, however, so make sure to measure first. I'll try it myself later and update the review with results. The hold is very good. It can easily support a heavy steel firearm without buckling, sagging, etc. The belt is very pliable and easy to put on and buckle up - I was concerned that this lack of stiffness would be an issue (there is a double-width 5.11 belt which I was also considering), but it wasn't. Ballistic nylon is very tough, so I expect this belt to last a while. If it frays, that can usually be fixed with a lighter. The start of the belt which passes through the buckle is extra rigid to make that easier and prevent fraying, which is nice. I've owned a few NATO/Zulu (nylon) watch straps and they're as strong as anything. Most people will tell you that you can expect whatever the nylon is attached to to break before the nylon itself. Maybe you shouldn't wear this belt if you're around dangerous machinery that could pull you in. Lastly, the plastic buckle is surprisingly tough. I usually don't associate "plastic" and "strong" together, but after handling it, I have a lot of confidence. After all, helmets, protective equipment, and some lawnmower decks are made out of types of plastic. I'm also glad that there is no Velcro involved, as it inevitably wears out and then the belt would be worthless. You simply pass the belt through the buckle twice and it holds tight without slipping. Now, the sizing is hit-or-miss. I read other reviews to get a sense of what I should buy. I have a 36" waist, so I bought an XL to play it safe. I could have probably gone with a L instead. Wearing my holster, there is at least 6"-8" of excess belt. Since there is no keeper, it's up to a belt loop to keep the extra flap in place. The buckle, while easy to use, strong, and tight, does not look very good. It sort of juts out in an unnatural way and does not look very clean or professional, which someone else mentioned. The tighter you can get the belt, the flatter the buckle will lay on the front of your pants. I leave my belt slightly loose and the buckle protrudes and is canted. Fortunately, I am not wearing this belt with tucked-in shirts, so that doesn't matter. But it's definitely a consideration for those who will. Lastly, the belt is Made in China, as noted on a label, which is unfortunate. For the cost and performance, this is a nice belt. I bought it specifically for CCW and it was worth it.

Prefect fit and comfortable, Run's a little small
The 5.11 Tactical Men’s 1.5-Inch Convertible TDU Belt is a versatile and durable accessory that is perfect for outdoor activities, law enforcement, and military use. The belt is made of nylon webbing that is fade-and fray-resistant, ensuring that it will last a long time. The belt is also easy to use and can be converted into a tie-down, carry strap, or emergency harness. The belt is reasonably priced and offers great value for money. It does run a little small so you might want to order the next size up. Don't be fooled by similarly looking belts at 1/3 the price, there is no comparison. In conclusion, the 5.11 Tactical Men’s 1.5-Inch Convertible TDU Belt is a high-quality, reasonably priced, easy-to-use accessory that will last a long time. It has received great reviews from customers and is highly recommended for anyone looking for a versatile and durable belt.

The Belt That Served Its Country… Then Retired
The 5.11 TDU Belt is basically the OG “I can do everything” nylon belt. Metal‑detector friendly, TSA friendly, converts into a tie‑down strap, durable enough to survive whatever chaos you throw at it — it really was that guy for a long time. But now? It’s kinda like the veteran who still shows up to PT but doesn’t run the sprints anymore. Still reliable, still tough, still absolutely usable… just not the top dog in a world full of newer, beefier, more comfortable tactical belts with better stiffness and support for concealed carry. If you bought it years ago, you probably loved it. If you buy it now, you’ll think “yeah this works,” but you won’t be writing poetry about it. Solid belt. Respectable. But the tactical glow‑ups have passed it by.

The Belt that belts what needs belting.
I love this belt, but not without reservation... First, the good news: It holds my kilts up! I almost exclusively leave the house in kilts, both Utilikilts, and the 5.11 Tactical Kilt, and this fits easily into the belt loops of both. It hold my business in place without wiggle or jiggle, no descent, no drooping, which, as I slowly develop Old Man butt, becomes increasingly crucial for the sanctity of the eyes of those around me. I have no doubt it would work great as a tie-down as well, though why tie, I could nay guess. It's a belt. Now, the hesitation... getting this thing threaded through it's buckle is a little tricky. It should be noted that I have a belly, a proper, rigorously earned male silverback gorilla belly, but a belly nonetheless. I wear my belt below my belly, and thus, when donning said belt, there's a bit of mass atop it. The issue is, once the belt is fully threaded, it IMMEDIATELY wants to grab onto itself and grip tight. That's great while cinched, but in trying to keep the belt as tight as I like, while pulling the belt through the buckle, and shanking back that adipose ridge, it can get a little tricky. I've got a technique already, but it's not an exact science yet. For you gents with some girth, prepare for a bit of struggle to get this sucker as tight as you like it. But have great confidence that once there, this sucker HOLDS, like a champion boxer who's all gassed out.

5.11 Tactical TDU Belt 1.5 inch Plastic Buckle - Coyote Tan
I purchased both the black and coyote coloured version of the 5.11 belt and was very pleased with both of them. They are light, comfortable to wear, and very important when travelling by air _ "airport friendly". I only wish that 5.11 would produce heavy duty braces of the same type. I need this kind of extra support since I tend to carry quite a lot of "tackle" round my belt.

Çok iyi
Plastik tokalı olmasından dolayı güvenlik alanlara girerken xrayde ötmüyor. 5.11 pantolonlarla tam uyumlu ve kaliteli malzemesi var.
