Olay Total Effects Night Firming Facial Moisturizer Treatment 1.7 Fl Oz, Packaging May Vary

I had been without a face cream for 3 months since I am temporarily staying with a relative while getting my house sold so alot of stuff is in storage. It was getting really noticeable to me last month how thin and dry my skin was looking. It has been a month now of every evening using this and my skin feels amazingly soft! Small wrinkles have disappeared. I just turned 73 and having always used some form of cream or lotion for my face had kept me looking 20 years younger so it was quite a shock how not using it affected my skin. I like this product because it not only works but is not sticky and absorbs into the skin quickly. I have tried different brands but they are not really any better, just thick and smelly.

I love how this cream feels. It is the perfect weight for me. It is light but creamy, and it is not greasy at all. I am weary of creams, but not this one. It soothed my skin and feels great. The best benefit for me: I'm very impressed this product addresses seven skin care issues. Most companies will sell you 10 products to get the benefit that you can get in two. I detest piling on layers of skin care products before I go to bed. I usually skip some when that is the case. It becomes a chore. So, if I can address all of these issues in one step - especially for this price - I found a new friend. I do have to say that I don't love the smell of this product. It isn't a strong smell - just a little bit odd. I only noticed it the first time I used the product, but if that is more important than addressing this many skin care issues by applying one product you won't like it very much. That is up to your personal preference. I am a former professional skin care consultant and make-up artist, and I know the market. I gotta tell ya - Olay has really stepped up their game, research and technology in the past few years. They used to be an okay but passe' company. Now they are hot on the trail again, making some notable and popular products. They are competing very well again in the market and have without any doubt many of the best products you can get for this price point. Good for them! Who said, older isn't better? :*)

Let me start off by saying that I've worn a heavy foundation every day for the past 15-20 years due to uneven skin tone, redness, blemishes, undereye circles, etc.... Now that I'm in my mid 30's I was looking for a heavier moisturizer because my skin has dried out a lot in the past year. I wanted to be able to go without any face makeup and feel confident about it. I've been using this for the past month and a half, and after the first couple days I saw improvement. I've been able to not wear any makeup and my skin looks healthy and has a glow to it. After the first month or so, I noticed it looked firmer and the fine lines I had developed around my eyes were gone. I am beyond happy with the results. My skin looks and feels heal their than it has ever been- even my pimples have disappeared. It has a very pleasant scent and I don't find it heavy or greasy- I often wear it during the day. I would reccomend this moisturizer to anyone!

Is a little behind the times, as far as hyaluronic acid, ceramides and niacinamide go -- but this moisturizer feels like a Drink of Water for your skin! and thats why I have been repurchashing it for 20 yrs. One full pump is actually too much for me, I only press it down 50-75% so one bottle last around 45 days. I deducted 1 star because IT HAS ARTIFICIAL DYE IN IT- Red 40 and Yellow 7

. I’ve tried many expensive night treatments, but I prefer this one. It does what it says it will do. In my experience I’ve found that there is no cream that can erase fine lines and wrinkles. Reducing the ‘appearance ‘ of fine lines is not a claim to erase those lines. I’m 77 years old and I’m not showing my age. I’ll stick with this night cream for now.

I used this product about 15 years ago and had forgotten about it. I was in my early 50's then and noticed that this product evened out my skin tone. Now I'm 66 years old (ugh!) and I recently started using this again. It's rich and creamy, good for winter in New England. I put a little water on my fingers to thin it out a bit. Good moisturizing effect and it still evens out my skin tone, lightens sun spots. I use it at night because it has 0 SPF

There are so many different Olay products in their Regenerist line, that it makes it confusing to be able to narrow it down. I guess the only way is trial-and-error. For this particular product (despite 5 star reviews from many customers), it didn't perform in a way that will persuade me to purchase again. Pros: - Thick cream (a little goes a long way) - Smells nice - Fast absorbing Cons: - does not perform as advertised (firming aspect, but not that my age demographic of 30-35 needs it) - after 2 months of use, have not noticed any improvement in fine lines with sole use of this product (I am starting to develop my first fine line just under the eye area) What actually has worked in the past was the Neutrogena night cream with Retinol--but I don't like to use that every day because I don't want to become too dependent on Retinol. I actually really like the Olay Night Cream (for some reason, has a pale lavendar color). That must be a new product, because they're selling it as a free trial product shrinkwrapped to the Regenerist daily serum and Regenerist eye serum packages in stores.
