Exoliating oats can get rough on the skin
This soap has a pleasant natural fragrance and produces a rich thick lather. They're not kidding when they say it's exfoliating. The bar is full of chopped oat seeds that definitely will give it a scrubbing surface.If you're "blessed" with sensitive skin like me I must warn that the seeds can get a bit rough and I've emerged from the shower with several visible scratches on my skin that while they do fade after some time, they garner some interesting questions if someone sees you. Shouldn't be a problem if you have normal skin.

there is a large waste factor. almost an 1/8 of the bar was unusable due to the material used for exfoliating perhaps being improperly mixed at the factory. or maybe it was just a fluke.

Great all-natural soap
Raw Materials steel-cut soap is very nice. It lathers well and is gently exfoliating. It was also a well-received Christmas gift for friends.
