If you want to waste money BUY THIS NOW!
I wish I could give this thing zero starts. What a POS.1) YES IT HAS A SWITCH! You have to manually hit the button when you want to turn on charging ports.2) Even if you are fine with the switch CALIBRATION IS ***HORRIBLE****. There are 3 'always-on' ports. The more current drawn from these ports will really screw up the calibration. I had a phone, a printer and a VOIP modem plugged in the always-on ports, in the charging ports I had a wireless headset, a xoom tablet, a cellphone and a laptop. So you hit the button. It starts to charge and then shuts off. You check the manual, "Ah, I just have to calibrate it with the white screw on the side. You turn it all the way clockwise and then hit the swtich. Ah it's on, ok now turn it counter clockwise until it switches off and then turn it back a little again. Ok done. Now hit the switch. On-off, "What?", On-off. Ahhh! You try it a dozen more times before realizing that some companies don't quality test their products and you just paid $30 for a strip you have to tape a button down on to use the other 6 strips. What a POS.

crude design
Power is "turned off" to all devices only after last one is done charging. Even then, red light remains on. Wasn't that the kind of problem this device was supposed to solve?I thought this would save the hassle of unplugging my phone chargers every day. But you still have to turn this power strip on every day after you plug in your devices.Another word of caution-- if your cell phone runs a lot of apps that refresh data in the background, it will charge, power will turn off, then cell phone will be half dead by morning. This product was not what I wanted.

Be careful about what you want this strip to do for you
I can use this strip, but it really does not do what I needed to be done. I wanted a strip with a control outlet that would serve to trigger other outlets to turn on/off with the unit plugged into the control. This strip doesn't do that. I will keep the strip however as its intended purpose - keeping control of phantom power losses from things like cell phone chargers - is useful.

Bits Limited LPG3Ten Outlet Charging Station
While the concept is great, the product does not seem robust at this point. The first unit arrived not working according to the included instructions. I called the technical support dept of the manufacturer who proceeded to explain in detail how the system was designed and should perform. They agreed to have me ship it back so they could examine and test it. Three weeks later I received what appeared to be the same unit with the same defect. No letter was included to confirm the unit had passed QC or if it was a new unit to replace the original one. After several attempts to adjust the trim potentiometer on the unit without success, I returned the product. If a revised version of this product becomes available, I would be interested in giving it another try.

Excellent Price - Fast Shipping - Smart Charging Stations Are Great!
Fast Shipping, adequate packaging. I assume that this unit seems to be a reconditioned product, e.g., the directions are a skimpy xeroxed slip of paper and not the glossy card or pamphlet that comes with a new retail product. I like the way the station works and have many gadgets that benefit from the way it turns itself off when they are fully charged. I would buy from this seller again.

Love the money I'm saving
I love that there are no energy vampires now. No need to unplug all my power adapters with this baby. I just press the button each night after I plug in my devices and rest assured that as soon as they are full this device will shut off. No more wasted power.

WORK GREAT
Family LAPTOPs, rechargeable batteries and Bluetooth equipment, its just makes saving energy better. Teacheing the whole family how to use it was easy and they all understood the concept. THANKS

Great idea, never worked in the slightest
Received this item as a gift for Christmas and everyone thought I was a weirdo being excited about a power strip, but the concept was such a cool idea I put it on my wishlist. Well I tried to get it to work on multiple devices and using the adjustment method but it never would fire up the switched outlets. I even tried it on devices that use different voltage levels (computers, lamps, printers, monitors ) and nothing triggered the switched outlets. I as in a rush over Christmas and I wish I chose a brand name smart strip instead of this crap, can't believe they actually advertise their regular prices is $80!! Who would pay $80 for a power strip that sucks, it really can't be that hard to make one of these yourself for less. BTW BELKIN sells the same thing for $15 at a local store near my house.
