well... all i can say is that i am PLEASANTLY surprised! I ordered an XL after reading the reviews and asking the community if an 18 would be considered an XL. This fits like a glove! It has stretch to it totally fits! I would say even a 1X could wear this.....which one would say "isn't that the same as XL" - well us bigger women know that just isn't true!! lol I'm just pleased!

I am 5'9 and 180 with an athletic body. This dress was perfect. Length was great. Received a lot of complements on it. Beading was great and it looked expensive! It is a great dress!

I loved loved loved this dress. I felt so pretty and feminine it in. Fit as expected got my usual size a medium. Wanted a Gatsby dress that would be sexy and this was it. Puuurfect. And the price.... Even better.

Perfect dress for my event . I kept loosing tassels all night but got many compliments. Perfect fit and it is somewhat stretchy. I am a size 10 5'8'm and 170 so just to give the ladies an idea 💡

This is a pretty dress. I fell in love with the white one honestly, but my skin tone doesn’t work with lighter colors like that. So I bought the black one.It’s cheaply made. As soon as I pulled it out of the plastic bag in arrived in, I heard things falling to the floor. There were also loose tassels. And by the zipper, there was some fabric that just stuck out like a sore thumb. So it had a few minor defects like loose threads and sequins.The fit is not traditional style Flapper. If you want it to actually reflect the fashion for that time period, you’ll need to order one or two sizes up. The Flappers wore their dresses very loosely fitted, hiding curves. This will fit you like a modern day cocktail dress. Mine was basically a bodycon fit, which is something I can’t really avoid because I have wide hips.I bought the medium, and I am 34C, 29 waist, 40 hips. I’m 5’4” and 143 lbs. The fabric does have some stretch, but not too much. This was a comfortable snug fit for me. With loose parts around the waist only.Overall, the quality is Okay. If you’re going to wear this once, and it looks good on you, I say go for it. It is such a pretty dress, that you’ll get some head turns I’m sure! But if you like to invest in something that you can wear more than that, you may want to keep looking. I just don’t see it holding up for very long.I returned mine because of the defects and overall dissatisfaction with the dress. It just wasn’t what I wanted.

Where do I start?! For a £30 beaded dress I am blown away it fit perfectly, looks perfect and my kids said I looked like a princess so if that's not a win I don't know what is 😄Theres a very long side zip which is perfect so your not struggling to get in it, it feels and looks more expensive than it is. I was worried about sizing incase it was too small but I'm a 10 top and a 12 bottom half and it fit like a dream! I'm 5"4 and it's just above my knee

Very good. If you order this dress, please try it on before you judge. When I opened the bag it came in, I was disappointed. It looked cheap and more of a yellowish tinge to it.However, in a different light it is a blush beigh/ pink. With a spark.I got a medium as I am a 10 normally. I weight 9st 10ish at 5ft 6 and it fits snug above the knees by about 2 inches. Snug fit, as in sits on the body, not loose or tight. If I gain a few pounds it would still fit well I think.Couple of small things that I will correct. Firstly the tassels, some are longer so I will trim. They aren't as full as the picture, therefore I may add some of my own. Arms are a bit itchy due to embodiment around it. I really like this dress and for £21.00 I'm really impressed. Oh also the underdress is stitched at the side seams to the above netting, this is great as I find under dresses always ride up so I think this is great, saves me doing it. Haven't washed it yet so not sure about how that will go.I would recommend and if I can get this in black I will.

I loved this dress! I ordered this on my boyfriend's account. I am about 5f2 (158 cm) and I ordered size S in beige. For me, the dress was a little too long for my liking and also a little bit too wide, so I ended up altering the dress to fit me better. I know that 1920s style is not always to be fitted, but since I am already short I don't like baggy dresses! I made the dress shorter by trimming the slip dress under the beaded top layer, and cutting away the bottomost transparent layer leaving just the frills. I also tailored the sides by about 1 1/2 inches (on one side only, as I didn't have time to redo the zipper which is on the side) and it ended up being a nicely fitted dress. I did make it a little bit too short which I noticed when I sat down, but in the end I was very happy with it. The dress itself is beautiful and well made. For the price I think it's an absolute steal and I definitely recommend if you want to look the 1920s part!

I’m a size 8 to 10 and bought a size small. The fit was ok. I had to take it up about 3 inches on the shoulders but I am fairly flat chested. Once I’d done that, the fit was nice. Whilst the adjustment made the dress shorter, it was still long enough to be decent! The quality is so-so. I’ve lost at least 5 strings from the fringing and most of those were before I’d even worn it. The sequins and embroidery aren’t well finished and they fray towards where the zip is sewn in. However, the overall look of the dress is lovely and it’s not a piece I intend to wear loads, so I’m not really bothered! It will probably look tatty after a few wears, so if you want something you can wear loads of times, it’s probably best to look elsewhere! I had lots of compliments, though, and it looks the part for a 20s themed night!
