Very good quality replacement part

I used this on the left (driver) side of a 2006 Chevy Equinox (basically identical to a Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Vue). This can be used on either side.Pros:Good quality OE replacementCheapCons:Requires extra work to install in 06 EquinoxNo cap for grease fitting (would have been nice for the salty winters in the Northeast)The extra work:The original ball joint is riveted to the control arm. To install this I had to grind the rivet heads off of the old ball joint and then use a hammer and punch to get the lower portion of the rivets out of the old ball joint and control arm. The rivets are, of course, smaller than the bolts that are provided with this ball joint. In order to compensate for this difference the control arm has to be drilled. The new ball joint was put in place and lined up using two drifts then clamped down. After making sure the clamp was secure, I drilled the rivet holes out using a 13/16" titanium coated drill bit*. After the control arm was drilled, the ball joint was installed using the provided hardware.Despite having to drill the control arm, this is a good quality ball joint. The drilling only takes about 5 extra minutes, provided you have the extra tools on hand. I'm ordering another one to replace the right side ball joint.*I think it was a 13/16". It might have been an 11/16". It was definitely one of those two that I used. I did this almost a year ago. I'm doing the right (passenger) side soon, and I'll update the review with which drill size is definitely used.

I have no issues with these ball joints. The pain, of course was getting the old ones off without air chisel which would have made quick work of removing old OE rivets. So I had to use chisels, punches and grinding wheel. But these fit great, bolted on easy and were easy to grease. They come pre-greased, but grease them again anyway after install.

OEM replacement part for my 2006 Saturn Vue Manual transmission (4 cylinder). I stripped the thread on the ball joint when doing wheel bearings and needed a replacement for the driver side. Removing the stock piece is a lesson in patience and using a drill bit. As you will need to CAREFULLY drill out the bolts that hold this to the lower control arm. This is because GM decided to not to use normal nuts / bolts and instead use a more permanent solution. Not sure what the type of bolt is called, but just no that no socket wrench will remove them. once they are removed, the bolts provided slide right in! Has a spot for filling with grease. Really nice piece.

Missing all the nuts and bolts. Usless without them.

I purchased two of these for 2006 Equinox. I try to stick with the OEM brand Ac Delco for all my parts. I installed these pretty easy, and saved money by not buying from the local auto parts store. They will need to be greased with a grease gun.

Looks good, fit good, tight, and good rubber boot

Bolts are a bit too big for a.2011 Impala but I made it work.

It fit like a glove. Like the original part. Thanks for now.
