My go-to midday boost that actually tastes like a treat!
**5.0 out of 5 stars - My go-to midday boost that actually tastes like a treat!** If youโre looking for a protein bar that doesn't taste like chalk, these Cookies & Cream bars are the absolute gold standard. Iโve tried a ton of different brands, but I keep coming back to Quest because the texture and flavor are just so much better. They are rich and satisfying, with actual cookie-like crumbles that make it feel like you're eating a dessert instead of a "health" bar. These have been a total lifesaver for my busy workdays. They are so easy to just throw in a lunch bag or a gym bag when I know Iโm going to need that extra boost to get through the afternoon. With 21g of protein and only 1g of sugar, they keep me full for hours without the sugar crash I get from other snacks. I also love that they are keto-friendly and gluten-free, which makes them a really easy option for staying on track with my goals. Pro tip: if youโre at home, pop one in the microwave for about 10 secondsโit turns into a warm, gooey cookie experience that is out of this world! These are definitely a staple in my pantry now.

My Go-To Protein Bar โ Great Taste, Awesome Value!
Quest Nutrition Protein Bars are hands-down my favorite protein bars, and the 12-count boxes have become a staple in my pantry. Hereโs why Iโm giving them a full 5 stars: Taste & Texture: The Cookies & Cream flavor is a standoutโsweet, creamy, and packed with that classic cookies-and-cream vibe without being overly sugary. The texture is chewy with just the right amount of crunch, making it feel like a treat rather than a typical protein bar. At 21g of protein, 1g of sugar, and 4g net carbs, itโs perfect for my keto-friendly diet. Nutrition: These bars deliver on their nutritional promises. The high protein keeps me full for hours, whether Iโm eating one post-workout or as a quick snack between meetings. Theyโre gluten-free, which is great for my dietary needs, and the low sugar and carbs make them guilt-free. Value & Pricing: For some reason, the Cookies & Cream flavor is often cheaper than other Quest flavors like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough or Birthday Cake. I always snag these on sale and use Amazonโs Subscribe & Save for the best deal Iโve found anywhere. The discount makes each bar incredibly affordable for the quality and nutrition you get. Convenience: The 12-count box is perfect for stocking up, and the bars are individually wrapped, so I can toss one in my gym bag or keep a few at work. They donโt melt or get crumbly, even in warm weather. Minor Note: The bars can be a bit dense, so I recommend having water on hand, but thatโs common with high-protein bars. Itโs a small trade-off for the awesome flavor and nutrition. Final Thoughts: Quest Protein Bars are my top choice for taste, nutrition, and value. If youโre looking for a keto-friendly, gluten-free protein bar that doesnโt skimp on flavor, these are a must-tryโespecially when you grab them on sale with Subscribe & Save. Highly recommend stocking up!

Expensive
Probably the worst thing I have to say about these is that they are expensive. The best price I've seen is on Amazon at $2 a bar. Locally, these are sold at Nutrition Center, on sale, for $2.50 each. If they tasted like crap, I'd tell them to keep them. They don't taste like crap. Since almost every other competitor does taste like crap or has a nutrition profile worse than a candy bar (usually both....not sometimes...the nutrition bar market is just....horrible), you don't have many options. I think Atkins is the only other bar that isn't total crap. And not only do they not taste as good as these, the nutrition profile isn't as good. Quest is the best of a bad lot. I really don't like the term nutrition bar, nor protein bar. Maybe fiber bar would be better. These and all other bars are a horrible nutrition choice. And whey protein and the like are terrible, low quality proteins, that many people are out and out allergic too. You want protein? Eat a steak...the more fat in it the better. The last hundred years of medical research says that's the best thing and the rest is just fads and lies. This is a candy bar. It tastes very yummy, just like a candy bar should. Unlike your average candy bar, its low in carbs. Which means diabetics like me, can eat it without dying. If you are diabetic and like candy, you should buy this. However, you still need to test with your glucose meter to make sure it doesn't spike your blood sugar. If your reading is over 140 an hour after eating this or over 120 two hours after eating it, you can't eat this. Go eat a steak and mope. Quest really needs to remarket these things and sell them in grocery stores with giant letters on the package that say....Diabetic Candy Bar. Most diabetics can probably eat these. Some can't. You've been warned. They will make a lot more money. Actually, I'm a bit miffed these are not sold in grocery stores. At least a dozen competitors ARE sold at my grocery store and every single one of them is utter crap. If you invest in putting these on the shelves, it won't be long before people figure out these are superior and you will make a lot of money. Nutrition centers and the like...waste of time and money. Most of those places won't be in business much longer because they sell worthless crap to idiots (who are figuring out not to waste money on all that). This is not crap. It's a good product I'd rather not see disappear with the crappy vitamin stores that can't compete with Walmart. I want you to make lots and lots of money and then put out more products like these. Also. I've tried half a dozen other flavors. They are all really good tasting. Quest makes a low carb series of really expensive potato chips to go with your candy bars. Probably worth looking into.

Not bad! Decent Taste and it'll do the job.
Macros: 21g of protein and 13g of Fiber. Beats most protein bars out of the market if you're just going for this. It does keep you full. Taste: They're not bad, the cookies and cream flavors aren't so strong. You can taste that it's artificial but it's just good enough. Texture: It is chewy (a bit hard if you refrigerate it), like any other protein bar and it'll take some effort to go through it. Smells decent as well. Doesn't really melt like some protein bars so that's pretty good. Overall, a solid 4/5, won't be your favorite but definitely worth a shot to see if you like it.

Protein, Fiber and Taste
The Quest Cookies and Cream protein bar is packed with 21g of protein, 13 g of fiber, only 1 g of sugar, 190 calories and a pleasant taste. The bar is a little harder than cookie dough but is still soft and chewy. It is not as sweet as cookie dough but still tastes somewhat sweet and more like a treat than a high protein, high fiber product. Quest accomplishes the good taste without all the sugar by using the sugar alcohol Erythritol. Erythritol has been shown to be safe as it is excreted from the body in an unchanged form and is less likely to upset the digestive tract as it goes through the bloodstream and is excreted in urine rather than being passed through the digestive tract where other sugar alcohols can be fermented, resulting in digestive issues. Additionally, Erythritol does not result in increases in blood sugar and insulin (important for diabetics or those trying to lose weight or with insulin resistance). The ingredients indicate that these bars contain almonds. I can't digest nuts or legumes, however I don't taste the nuts and have not had any issues with digesting these bars, which has made me happy, because almonds have a number of nutritional benefits, but I'm guessing the amount present is probably pretty small, although they rank relatively high on the ingredient list. In terms of the proteins and fiber, Quest uses a blend of milk protein isolate and whey protein isolate, which has been shown to have a good yield and blend of amino acids. The fiber is in the form of polydextrose, a common prebiotic fiber. Overall, Quest has found a formula to make a tasty nutrition bar that is both high in protein and high in fiber (a benefit that most protein bars don't include), while being very low in sugar. Nutritionally these bars seem to offer a lot of benefits as well as being a tasty treat.

Best flavor of Quest
These Quest Nutrition Cookies & Cream Protein Bars are hands down the best flavor in the Quest lineup! The cookies & cream taste actually tastes like a treat rather than a diet bar โ rich, sweet, and satisfying without any weird aftertaste. They hit the mark with 21g of protein, only 1g of sugar, and a low 4g net carbs, which makes them perfect for on-the-go snacks, post-workout fuel, or just something to curb cravings without derailing your macros. The texture is great too โ chewy with just the right amount of bite, not chalky or dry like some other protein bars. If you love protein bars but crave something that actually tastes delicious, this flavors stands out as the best in my opinion!

Love the taste but not the side effects
EDITED REVIEW In my initial review I hadn't been eating these for very long and I was strictly reviewing the flavor/texture of the bar. But after a couple months into my weight loss journey I started to get really discouraged because I wasn't losing any weight and my stomach felt bloated & I had pretty severe cramping all the time. I wasn't sure what was causing it. I was eating 1 or 2 of these a day. I ended up running out and it took me about a week before being able to repurchase and within that week I had no more bloating or cramping and dropped 7 pounds! I thought..ok maybe the weight is finally starting to come off. But then once I started eating them again the cramps/bloating returned and I gained the weight back almost immediately. I finally realized that these were the issue. I also never realized how much fiber these have in them so your constantly going #2 like 3 times a day! And maybe the fiber is what contributed to the stomach issues, I'm not sure. But since I cut them out completely I've lost 18 pounds and my stomach is completely back to normal. So if you're also having these issues, listen to your body and stop eating them because it's a good chance these may be the culprit. INITIAL REVIEW I've only tried the cookies & cream and birthday cake flavor from this brand but the cookies & cream is my absolute favorite protein bar I've ever tried!! The texture of protein bars can be a little weird so I love that it has the cookie pieces throughout to give it a better texture and some crunch. I almost wish I didn't discover these because now I'm addicted and have to keep myself from eating more than 1 or 2 a day lol. They also really help with hunger between meals. since I've been on my diet trying to cut out sweets has been the hardest part so these have helped so much! I feel like I'm eating a chewy cookie. Also, I've seen other reviews about the size and/or taste of the bars from Amazon compared to the store bought ones but I've tried both and have never had an issue with the ones through amazon. And I've purchased them multiple times. The expiration dates have always been good as well. So I highly recommend the cookies & cream flavor if you're looking for a sweet treat through out the day that isn't going to kill your diet or make you feel guilty!

Delicious, gluten-free, low-card and high protein? WOW!
This review is for the Quest Nutrition Cookies & Cream Protein Bars. The Good: The TASTE!!! The high protein! Low carbs! GLUTEN-FREE! Low sugar! The Bad: The price. The Ugly: Seriously, the PRICE. The Long Review: These protein bars are really top-notch. They have great texture and mouth feel (rare in a protein bar!) and the flavor is spot-on. They definitely fill you up and can be used as a meal replacement, at least in my experience - always check with your doctor before making a major change to your diet! For me however, I went through a bar too fast initially by just eating it like a normal candy bar. So, to resolve that issue, I have taken to cutting up the bar into cubes. I find this gives me a LOT of little bites, very satisfying as a snacky person, and it takes longer to eat the bar, which allows me time to actually feel full. The only disappointing part to these is the price - Quest charges a lot for their product, and I assume this is because they know they have a real winner and people will pay extra for the high quality, great texture and fantastic flavors. Final Thoughts: If they don't break the bank for you, I highly recommend any of the Quest protein bar products. Whatever it says it'll taste like, it most likely will, and it will mimic the mouth feel (texture) as much as possible.
