These punches are relatively well made and are easily used. They are very sharp and punch holes easily into leather of at least a four ounce thickness. The only issues that I have for them is that they have sharp edges in places where they should not be and that they rust. The rusting can be remedied with a small amount of Rem Oil or other light oil and a small file used to knock sharp edges down where they should not be. I recommend them and would buy more if needed.

I like these because they are all different sizes.I have used 3 of them so far and they have not rolled over or collapsed.I would recommend these to anyone looking for good leather punches. A really good value for the money.

Seem to work fine to me! Im a newbie to leather, so went on the cheaper end for my tools. After reading the reviews on these, i decided to take my chances. Yeah, they were a little oily when they got here, but thats not at all unusual for steel tools.For those that said they were dull out of the box: try a different cutting platform! I started out on my crafting desk, a lightweight hollowform ikea table, with a self healing mat. I was having a hard time getting through the leather, so i did try sharpening the one i was working on... It still didnt do much. I assumed i just didnt know what i was doing when it came to sharpening.Then i moved over to my workbench- a solid wood beast from harbor freight. Bam! One hammer hit, straight through, no issue. I grabbed one of the non-self-sharpened ones: bam! Right through! Soft leather, thin leather, thick stiff leather- one good tap on a solid surface was making short work of these half circles.So... Dont blame the tools for your sub par work surface!

Bought these mainly for the 1.5mm punch for stiching holes on a plague doctor mask and they worked great for every thing. Only thing I would change is maybe some cross hatching for grip

They do the job, but are not particularly sharp out of the gate. Had to really strike hard to get it to cut the leather.They came dirty and in a broken bag (tools were strewn all over the place in the mailer they came in).

I'm using these for the first time and I'm very pleased with the quality and ease of use. I hope they stay sharp.

I got these to use when I need to make gaskets for small engine repairs. They work great as you can see in the picture. I did improve the sharpness of the one I used for the gasket in the picture by touching it up on my shop grinder. I can’t attest to how well these would work for leather but, they’re excellent for making holes in gasket materials.

The smaller sized punches were all nice and sharp, as well as the majority of the larger ones. Only had to sharpen a few before use.So far they have worked great, if I end up getting more I would most likely buy these sizes from here again.
