This lightweight curl cream is great for dry ends --hair feels soooo soft!
I saw this line demo'd on tiktok and thought I'd try it. Why not? I've tried SO MANY products for my curly/wavy, fine-but-thick crazy hair. Most either leave my hair so sticky and greasy I can't stand it, or they do practically nothing for my curls. I was SHOCKED at not only how great their products make my curls look (and last for days) but how my hair still feels clean and soft like I just washed it. The best my curls have ever looked. My routine: a dab of the Cake curl cream on mids and ends for an extra bit of moisture (my hair is color-treated and highlighted); 6 pumps of this scrunched into mids and ends, and a big old handful of the Cake mousse on my roots. I use a LOT on my long hair and it never feels sticky, greasy, heavy, etc. My hair just feels soft and clean. This stuff is magical!!!

Love this curl cream!
I love this curl cream. I have 3a curls and this gives me soft curl definition. It’s not greasy or oily. It doesn’t leave my hair crunchy. I have sensitive skin and this doesn’t make me itchy. Not to mention it smells like lemon cake!

I absolutely love this curl cream! It defines my curls beautifully without leaving my hair feeling stiff, crunchy, or weighed down. A little goes a long way, and it helps control frizz while keeping my curls soft, bouncy, and moisturized all day. The scent is amazing, and my hair feels smooth with a natural-looking finish instead of looking overloaded with product. Definitely a staple in my curl routine and I’ll keep repurchasing it.

Great frizz/style cream, curly, straight, fine
This has seriously simplified my hair protocol. This is my de-frizz, my curl cream, my leave-in conditioner/strengthener. Whereas before, I was using a leave-in conditioner, argan oil, frizz serum, mousse, style cream and STILL missing something, now I just use Cake and mousse! A perfect pairing ;) 🍰 I've got baby fine hair and this works fantastic for me, whether I'm wearing my hair straight or curled that day. It's all in how much you use, and how you apply it. I have been battling breakage, so I've been trying all kinds of products to hydrate and protect my hair. I also have never had any luck with products for styling my hair. All too gunky, heavy, tacky, oily, mattifying, unnatural, they just dont work, dry out hair, or I'm allergic to them and they cause breakouts and hair problems. I found this, specifically searching for a style cream with protein and skin-friendly/non-scary ingredients - all musts for my fine, delicate, frizzy hair and sensitive skin! I needed something that was sensitive-skin-friendly, would condition/hydrate, strengthen (protein) to prevent breakage, combat frizz, and generally work to make my hair look "on purpose"-cohesive, rather than a scraggly, "really?-i-couldnt-tell-you-spent-an-hour-styling-your-hair-today-did-you-even-shower-this-week?" I actually found L'oreal's Air-dry It style cream first, and I do really like that - it lead me here - but it just wasn't quite cutting it. Perhaps it has the slight upper hand when it comes to hold, but, L'oreal is finicky- once you brush your hair, it looks like you didn't even use it and you have to add more, also it isn't moisturizing at all - it's JUST a style cream, and its 2-3x more expensive, and now I have like 12 different hair products in the regimen and still searching for another because my sad hair still needs... SOMETHING. Enter Cake. Why cake works for me: - Non-irritating for my sensitive skin - no gunky build-up - doesnt kill my volume - Doesn't make my hair look greasy - doesn't make my roots oily - it stays put when applied only to my lengths (other products I've had issue with, after putting my hair up for air-dry styling, whatever oiliness/conditioning was in the lengths of my hair sapped into my roots and made them look greasy. When trying to regulate an oily scalp, this is super frustrating after your much-awaited/anticipated shampoo day!) - Versatile: works great for air-dry, blow-dry, curls, straight, air or iron. (I use a heat protectant as applicable, since i didn't see on the product that it had heat protection) This isn't "heat activated," it works air-dry like a charm, but it also really holds up its properties with heat styling as well. It distributes well enough that I can use it air-dry for frizz control/shine/condition on fine, straight hair without it looking oily/weighed down, and it makes curls look juicy and well-kept. - adds shine and so much softness - works as a reliable, not-too-heavy/oily leave-in conditioner for fine hair - excellent detangler - frizz control - really keeps your locks together and smooth. I live in a bi-polar extreme environment - cold/dry snaps one day and so humid you're swimming the next. This stuff keeps it manageable. - style enhancer. Whatever the style, it just looks better. More polished. It definitely helps keep it together. My hair has a hard time holding a curl - this stuff makes a difference, iron or air, and with air-dry curls, this stuff keeps them curls rather than "I-thought-I-would-get-curls-but-instead-I-got-poof." - not a "temporary" style agent. You put it in, it works - after brushing your hair, sleeping in it, playing outside, humidity, whatever. - no build-up - strengthens/improves hair health. The main attraction for me. Dry lengths and breakage is why the frizz is real. With the argan/shea/avocado oils, it hydrates and conditions, leaving hair so soft. The protein strengthens - I've noticed a real difference in my hair feeling less delicate/brittle since I started using this, maybe in 1 week. - multitasker! More functions, one reliable product. Thank goodness for that. One-stop-shop for natural style perfection. Now I only need mousse to volumize my baby hair, and cake for everything else! - price. Good hair shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Thank you for keeping this affordable, and for keeping the ingredients real, not compromising cost for junk ingredients.

Great product
My husband likes this for his hair. He has very coily curls and it works great for his hair type. It’s not greasy feeling on the hands. Great for curly hair!

No hold for curls
I have fine wavy hair and while this product does tame frizz and leave my hair feeling soft, it provides no structure. It's very heavy and my curls fall flat even with diffuser and scrunching.

YOU HAVE TO BREAK THE CAST
This curl cream is wonderful. The smell isn’t overwhelming and it’s similar to GS Lemonade cookies. Let me address the “crunchy” comments. If you’re a curly girl, you need to learn how to use creams and gels that make your hair feel crispy or crunchy. Section your hair into 4 pieces, apply the cream, comb through with a wide tooth comb, and diffuse on low heat/fan. After your curls dry, BREAK THE CAST by flipping your hair to the side or upside down and clap your hair gently between your hands. Et voila. The crunch is gone and your curls remain intact.

New fav curl product
Smells like lemons (yum) and makes my curls look so good!! It’s super easy to put in hair and when applied with a gel, curls hold. I love that this product doesn’t feel thick and makes my curls feel flowy and not weighing down. Overall loving this product!!

Love this!
LOVE IT. I've never used a leave-in conditioner but this is so good. I have wavy hair and it goes frizzy usually, but with this, it seals in the moisture for days. It's silky and just awesome. Where have you been all my life, is the vibe. It smells so nice too (cake-y). I'm really set on this. I read that our type of hair dries out quickly and seeks out moisture from the air - hence the frizziness. Since using this - no more friz, and it's just silky smooth in the waves, and has like a protectant feeling to it. It's not oily or heavy, etc. Just perfect!

Leaves my curls soft and has a bit of hold
Best curl cream I've found for my hair. For reference my hair is pretty damaged (it gets dyed often), it's fine but there's lots of it. Naturally it either curls into ringlets, wildly frizzes, falls into loose waves or hangs somewhat straight. Unfortunately, it usually does all of that at once unless I've wrangled into some semblance of order with hair products. Curl Friend actually can make even my wild hair look pretty great! With this, I get nice curls that hold pretty well, even without gel or mouse as long as it's not going to get windblown, rained on or touched a lot. Plus it keeps it soft, shiny, frizz free and it's vegan! My Method: In the shower I rinse the conditioner out with my head flipped upside down, then scrunch out most of the water (head still upside down), then scrunch in some of this cream and plop my hair into a microfibre hair turban towel. I leave it in the towel for a few minutes to remove excess moisture then gently remove the towel (head upside down again), then flip my head up and gently (GENTLY!) arrange any curls that are out of place (falling into my eyes or sticking straight up or out for example). Sometimes I'll add a tiny bit more curl cream if there are still frizzy bits sticking out or if the ends feel dry, then let it air dry without touching it further. I know that sounds like most of the product ends up on the towel, and I'm sure some does, but this is the best method I've found to wrangle these unruly curls into order. Honestly, this stuff is my holy grail of hair products! It's vegan, my hair seems to love this stuff and it smells heavenly!

Cumple su función y no se siente pegajoso
Huele riquísimo como a pay de limón, es buen producto y no se si es por mi tipo de cabello pero tengo que ser muy cuidadosa de la porción usada si uso demás pareciera tipo gel
