It seams to put water in to veg while steaming and once finished blends all the water in and I end up with a thin liquid, should water be in there?

Have a look at the manual but basically you use the basket inside the jug if you don’t want to water to be blended with the veg. For younger babies, the water helps to thin the purée.

Could you steam for example carrot sticks in this without the blend function to support baby led weaning?

Yes. It’s brilliant as you can use it just to steam, either using the small basket allowing you to steam vegetables and letting the water or juices drain away in to the main container. Or if you prefer you can steam larger amounts of vegetables in the main container and then drain away the water after steaming. It’s got various settings and it’s really versatile and really quick. I love it and would highly recommend it.

My machine no longer blends. It sounds like it’s blending but it’s not spinning. Does anyone know how to fix this?
