Didn’t really do the job as I would have hoped
While being quarantined at home, to my roommates and my horror we suddenly had a huge fruit fly problem that seemed to come out of nowhere. (This actually seems to happen every spring/summer, but it’s never been this many at one time).Instead of doing nothing and just dealing with it, I decided this time would be different! Especially since we were stuck working from home it wasn’t as easy to ignore them. So I did some research and found that these traps are a good way of catching lots of flying unwanted bugs. Long story short, it came in the mail and I posted them in the areas where fruit flies were abundant - the kitchen and bathrooms.And.... it didn’t really do any, unfortunately. I’ve killed more flies with my bare hands. I also think pouring scolding hot water mixed with some vinegar down the sink drains helped kill fly eggs lurking in the drain waiting to hatch. In the end, I think these traps caught one poor fly and I’ve had these since April 11th.The traps are super sticky, I’ll give it that; however, there doesn’t seem to be anything special about them that lures the flies to the trap to begin with. No attraction = fruit flies continue to fly around freely without consequence.

Very sticky
I got these bug traps for unwanted soil/water gnats that came with a bag of soil I bought. They are incredibly sticky, so you need to be careful only to touch the triangular base when pushing them into the soil, or you will stick to it. This was difficult pushing into my smaller pots, where my fingers had less room to work with. They have caught most of the gnats, which is great. I do recommend these for your indoor plants, especially for bugs that fly up from the soil.

Excellent in house insect trap
I found everything to be as described and I have reordered several more packages as replacements to change out and to add a couple extra traps to maybe catch bugs, if any, that come in back door when opened. It took a few days for the traps to start showing that bugs do really like the color "yellow"

Works like a charm!
Works like a charm! I tried the apples filled with fruit fly potion and it definitely helped. But these butterfly strips attracted them til every one was gone. And I had an infestation.

didn't work till I put in wine
These did nothing until I stuck them in red wine.I first used these as the were meant....I stuck the lower part of the yellow plastic butterfly into the soil of my plants. My plants leaves stuck to this, as you can in the picture (the large things in the top corners are parts of the leaves after I tore them off) but not a single bug.So then I found a small bottle and poured some red wine into it and stuck the trap in that. Then it worked very well. The wine was the smell they needed to come inspect and then the glue trap caught them.

eliminated the nit problem completely
I thought I would have to use other traps for the rest of the house, but these eliminated the nit problem completely. Never thought I'd see the day. I'd definitely buy these again.

So sticky
I was so pleasantly surprised by these. I was given a plant that apparently had gnats in the soil. These things catch EVERYTHING! They're easy to peel, easy to install, easy to take out (use a paper towel to remove unless you want your fingers to be stuck to it with a bunch of gnats, like I did the first one), easy to dispose. I will purchase these again and I highly recommend them for anybody with plants.

Perfect solution for knat issues.
Work great I have tried sprays from the store as well as homemade sprays to kills knats on my houseplants and nothing works. These babies did the trick, within 2 days almost all the knats where caught, now have new ones in the pot incase anymore hatch.
