I Hate My Cats (A Love Story): (Cat book for Kids, Picture Book about Pets)

Love this book. it is funny and the illustrations are awesome. Yeah, and I guess the kids like it too. LOL

Purchased this book to contribute to my unit on opinion writing! It’s so fun and the illustrations are beautiful and detailed.

Wonderful book. My 5 year old granddaughter’s favorite!

I got this book only with the permission of my 10 lb overlords, with the assurance that the title wasn't literal, and that I would still devote my existence to their comfort and whims and that I had no treasonous intent. Here they are giving their approval. Oh it's a really good book too, very well illustrated.

This was a pretty cute book. It’s a little aimed at a tad bit older audience, as it comes across as funny but in a sentimental sort of way that younger kids may not fuller understand. Davide Cali is one of my favorite picture book authors, and I think he does a fabulous job of writing a picture book for a kid who is becoming more proficient at reading, using more varied vocabulary and sentence structure. What I really love about this is that this book is Anna Pirolli’s illustrating debut. Her style is really cool, with lots of details and a sort of muted color scheme – there are lots of neat furniture and other sorts of intricate things in the background that kids will like to look at. I really liked this book, and I think lots of exasperated pet owners will love it too! *Please note I received a free review copy of this book

If you know cats (and I think it's safe to say that most of us do), you know that the "hate" in this title points to overflowing buckets of love. Cats may get into all sorts of shenanigans but we love them even more for their wonderful quirks and irreverent attitudes toward us. In simple words and beautiful illustrations, this charming books captures the individuality of cats, and the unconditional love we have for our resident felines, despite the destruction that they cause.

This book is hysterical and beautifully illustrated. My kids love reading this one!
