Thank you, all A+++++ here! ### ⭐ Drill bits or just steel rods? *by A***. on August 28, 2024* Yeah the headline is a bit of an exaggeration, but boy these bits are absolutely horrible. I bought these for the new Blum tandem jig I got. I never replaced the bit on the old jig, and I don’t know how many thousands of holes the old bits have bored, and it still only requires light pressure to drill holes. This new bit requires tremendous force to drill a 2.5 millimeter hole in poplar. How it that possible? I can use a thumbtack with a fraction of the force. Needless to say these bits went in the trash, and new ones are on the way from a different company. I seriously can’t get over how hard it was to drill such tiny holes. I go through a couple hundred thousand screws a year in my company. Many of these screws require pilot holes so I’m very familiar with the characteristics of drill bits.
