These mits really work! Sometimes when I use these I can see a ton of dead skin visibly exfoliated, which leaves my skin nice and smooth. It can be abrasive and sometimes leave a scratch or redness for a short period of time after but I have very sensitive skin. Easy to machine wash and long lasting. They appear very large out of the pack but they shrink to hand-sized and are light weight. Would recommend.

This exfoliating mitt is hands down one of the best self care purchases I have ever made, and I do not say that lightly. If you have ever felt like your skin still is not actually smooth no matter how many scrubs or body washes you try, this is what you are missing, but only if you use it correctly. The most important step is showering in hot water for at least 15 minutes before exfoliating. This is not optional. The hot water softens the skin and loosens layers of dead skin buildup. If you rush this step or use warm or lukewarm water, you will not get the same results. I let the bathroom get steamy, relax, and allow my skin to fully soften before even touching the mitt. Once your skin is ready, do not use soap or body wash while exfoliating. The mitt works best on clean, wet skin with no products interfering. Use firm, consistent strokes and let the mitt do the work. You will immediately see dead skin rolling off, which is both shocking and incredibly satisfying. It exfoliates deeply without feeling painful or overly abrasive. After you finish exfoliating, then use your body wash to cleanse everything away. When you step out of the shower, your skin feels unbelievably smooth and refreshed. Lotion absorbs better, shaving is easier, and the smoothness lasts far longer than with any scrub I have ever used. I have also noticed fewer ingrown hairs and an overall healthier looking glow to my skin. The mitt itself feels sturdy, high quality, and reusable. It does not feel flimsy or cheap like other exfoliating gloves I have tried in the past. It rinses clean easily and dries quickly, which is important for keeping it hygienic. Apologies for the steamy photo. It was taken right after use, but it truly shows how effective this mitt is at removing dead skin. If you follow the prep steps exactly, this exfoliating mitt delivers results that no body scrub or polish ever could. This is a complete game changer for anyone serious about exfoliation and smooth skin. I cannot recommend it enough.

I love how you can throw this in the washer and reuse it! You should definitely replace it every 6 months to a year though! It says to hand wash, but I’ve had no issues putting it in the washer in a bra bag! It definitely exfoliates well and it can be a bit scratchy if you’re using a body soap that isn’t as cushiony (dove sensitive is cushiony) but I’ve been recently using renpure and it makes it feel almost like sandpaper, but I try to use less pressure so it won’t be irritating! It works if you like high exfoliation!

This is not your ordinary skin buffer. If you follow the directions by not using soap nor using it under running water, you will find the results unlike any other shower scrubber I have used. No more flaky skin. It was smooth and showed off my tattoo because there was no grey haze of dead skin on top. Who knew? With lotion, it feels like a skin, soft and smooth. Worth the money from the two dollar dollar store version.

While it did work, after a few uses its full and doesn’t work as well no matter how much you clean it, i suggest going for an authentic African net sponge instead to save money and actually be able to use it repeatedly.

I've only used it twice so far, but I LOVE it! I didn't know it until now, but this is what I've been needing for years! For over 10 years I have struggled with bumps on my legs and arms - they don't cause me discomfort, I just didn't like the feel and appearance of them. My doctor told me they're not a health risk and are somewhat common, and to use a kind of lotion every day that has a specific acid in it to help breakdown the bumps. But I didn't like the lotion and it didn't work well for me. THIS exfoliating glove works for me! I've used brushes for years because loofahs don't give me the kind of scrub I want, but they never solved the bump problem. This did. My skin feels so incredibly smooth and clean. I follow up with a good lotion after the shower and I feel great. I have somewhat sensitive skin, so it did make my skin a little red in the shower, but it went away by the time I was done putting lotion on. The first time I used this, I wasn't in the shower long enough and I didn't scrub hard enough, so it wasn't as good of a result. But the second time I made sure to have a longer shower and scrub harder. That gave me the result I wanted, which also caused the skin peels you can see in some people's photos. It didn't hurt, just felt like a good scrub. I think if it hurts you, you might need to be in the hot shower a bit longer and be a little more gentle. Since I've only used it twice, I'm not sure about the longevity of the product, but so far it's been easy to clean and dry between uses and is in good shape. Very easy to take on trips, too, because it's so small. If you have large hands, you might want to look for one that says it's larger than this one. I wear medium size gloves comfortably and can squeeze into small gloves. This product fit my hands pretty well - a bit snug when wet (it shrinks when wet). But in my opinion it's good to be a little snug and not loose, because it's a bit rough inside the glove. There is no different layer of fabric between the exfoliating textured fabric and your hand. Being snug helps prevent scrubbing your hands inside it. So, to sum up: I like this product so far, it works for me, and I plan to continue to use it until it wears out.

This glove removed dead skin that I didn't even know was there. I will be buying another when I am no longer broke, and I honestly wished it came with another glove so I can exfoliate with both hands.

I bought these exfoliating mitts because the price was right and I figured I had nothing to lose. I did lose, though; I lost all of my dry, dead skin! I will start out by saying that these mitts are on the small side, and they shrink a bit the first couple of times that you use them. I have very small hands, so I appreciated that these fit my hands well and were snug enough to not move around while I'm using them. If you have large hands or long fingers, these mitts might be a bit snug for you. I discovered that these mitts work best dry, on damp skin. I usually shower and do my thing, then turn the water off and let my skin drip dry. Once I'm only damp (not dripping wet), I scrub myself down with a dry mitt. My skin quickly goes rosy pink without having to apply much pressure, and my dead skin rolls off in clumps. Literal clumps. I use these mitts about once a week, and each time, the bathtub floor is left covered in dead skin clumps. It is simultaneously disgusting and satisfying. Thr skin coming off reminds when using these mitts reminds me of when I've had bad sunburns in the past and my skin just peeled off in strips. It looks like that. I made the mistake once of trying to use the mitt before my skin had dried a bit, and it did nothing, so make sure your skin is only damp, not wet! That's the key! Since discovering these mitts, I've now reordered twice. I really like the way my skin feels now that I've incorporated them into my routine; particularly the backs of my arms and backs of my thighs, which had previously been rough and bumpy but are now SMOOTH and SOFT. I've noticed a huge difference in the texture of my skin and I couldn't be happier with my results. I find that each mitt does about 4-6 full body sessions before losing its exfoliation power, so at one session per week the 2 pack of mitts lasts me 2-3 months. I had previously been using an exfoliating scrub, which doesn't even compare to how soft and smooth my skin is now that I'm using these mitts regularly. Happy customer.

This mitt is ideal for my needs. I use this for exfoliating waxed legs. I wouldn’t say it’s light exfoliation and not extreme exfoliation either, it’s medium. Has worked great and provided desired results from one use!
