Philips 9005 VisionPlus Replacement Bulb (High-Beam), (Pack of 2)

I'm using these bulbs for my high beams and they're working great. They have a nice, clear light and are pretty bright. Nothing jaw dropping but definitely brighter than OEM bulbs.

I thought I had stock lights in my car and they was great as far as distance. These appear to make the road brighter right in front of my car and I mean allot brighter on the road right in front but not nearly the distance my other ones had. I am not to happy with the bulbs but they was worth the money. Now I have to go find what kind my old ones are because I was extremely happy with the distance and brightness of them.

Just as consumer reports said, best replacement bulb out there. Can't believe the difference. All for very reasonable price.

Bought these for my wife for her Corolla. I had just installed brand new head lamp assemblies also purchased from Amazon. So I am comparing these to the brand new bulbs that came in the new assemblies, which were definitely brighter than the old hazed over ones. They are a little bit brighter and seem to illuminate the road to a wider degree but not quite as much as I had hoped. Probably worth the decent price, but not a huge difference overall.

The items were delivered at the sped of light, no pun intended! I ordered them on Saturday night, and had them on my front door by 2:30 in the afternoon. The high beam headlights work great since I was able to install in my 2006 Honda Civic that very same day. Theses high beam lights work better than stock, but I did not want to replace with the brighter ones since It's a pain in the rear to change out the lamps on my Civic. If you have one lamps that goes out, my suggestion on a 2006 Civc, is to replace the low beam, high beam and the turn signal, because you will not want to have to get back in there again for a couple of years.

These highbeam headlight bulbs provide more illumination than the original one that came with the car. I did a test by only replacing one side of the car and notice the difference in illumination between the sides.

These are a great deal to replace stock bulbs, but if you are expecting whiter light don't bother with these. I installed the Philip bulb in one side to compare with the stock, no difference what so ever. Trust me these are not any whiter color than stock.

The VisionPlus bulbs are supposedly a certain percentage brighter than standard, but I don't notice any difference. My original bulbs were German made Philips and never burned out after 16+ years of use. I liked the fact that these new bulbs were German made and hope they last just as long. I only changed bulbs because I kept hearing that bulbs "age" over time even if not burned out. I've since compared my originals to Wagner, and these new Philips and based on my personal experience with my vehicle I see NO DIFFERENCE in light output or performance. My headlamp assemblies are crystal clear with no yellowing. So for me buying bulbs that aren't burned out yet has been a waste of money and moving the wiring harnesses around is risky because the wires are so small and seem brittle on my vehicle. Hopefully I didn't mess things up just trying to get better headlights. The retail package wasn't fully intact upon arrival. Hopefully it won't affect the bulbs or reduce the lifespan. Overall not really impressed.
