replacement parts
Nuts are black coated. Washers are thinner than originals but work just fine.

Incredible value
These worked perfectly, the threads and washers fit perfectly, installed with new wheel bearings and had zero issues.

Crappy quality control
I purchased two kits, one nut in each kit had a portion sliced off one of the faces. Like it was previously installed and someone had used a chisel instead of a socket to remove it. Of the two kits I was able to make one good one. I am going to reuse both inner old ones instead of taking a chance on another being bad. The outer edges (corners) of the nuts also had a very sharp edge that had to be filed off in order for the socket to fit squarely. The larger washer tabs also needed filing to fit the slot in the new Crown spindles I purchased. I think these parts should have gone through an abrasive tumbler to knock the edges down before sales. I won't purchase them from OMIX-ADA again. The nut hex sides also are slightly off center from the threaded area.

Perfect fit!
Perfect replacement for those nuts that have been removed with an incorrect tool. Buy the socket! It’s not going to break the bank and they need to be torqued to 50 ft pounds!!!

Perfect fit 1962 Willys 6-230 Utility Station Wagon
Perfect replacement parts for 4WD hub on my 1962 Willys Utility Station Wagon with Dana 27 axle.6 cylinder 230 cubic inch OHC engine. Also bought Omix-Ada 16711.01 Spindle Nut Socket which fits perfectly - even though the Amazon parts finder shows it won’t fit this vehicle, it does.

Great Replacement Part
I used these for bearing and spindle work on a 1983 Jeep CJ-5. These parts are very well made and were purchased to replace nuts that had been mangled by a previous "mechanic" using a chisel. Would purchase these again if needed.

Work as they should
These work as they should but I am still not sold on having to dog-ear the outside washer to act as a 'lock'. Someone recommended a set from a different axle (D44, I think?) Had I known, I may have gone with those instead. Otherwise, they do what they should.
