My son ordered these believing the were magnetic and could be shaped as a group. They do have a very minor magnetic attraction but is so weak the beads scatter when handled. The are total junk. To top this off it took weeks to get them and the seller has failed to respond to my inquiries. For the first time I am very disappointed with Amazon and they are not help either.

Hematite is not magnetic. The item is magnetite. If I had know the difference before I bought these, I would not have. The beads are nice looking, so I'll keep them, but they are not what I wanted.

I purchased these beads for a small project. I feel like for the price you pay the amount of beads you get is pretty decent. They was shipped in a padded Amazon prime envelope and came a couple days earlier than projected. (Note shipping was delayed due to complications with the virus. But once they shipped they arrived very promptly. Upon opening the envelop I found my beads neatly packaged in a sealed, easy to open, baggie and came with the company's card that encouraged the customer to leave a review. They we're properly stranded for safe shipping and storage. I untied the little knot that held them in place and tested the magnetic capabilities. For the most part they hold together on their own but will come apart fairly easily. The product is as described on their page with no visible defects in regards to size and quality. My only complaint is that they're not really as strong as I hoped they would be. Especially after reading another customer recommend them for being so strong. They won't serve for my project, but I'm certain I'll find some use for them.

Just what I was expecting. Perfect for making magnetic necklaces and bracelets for the kiddos. They are not super strong so the hole in the middle is great for adding say fishing line through them so they won't fall of your arm/neck. Don't expect them to stay on with their own magnetism. Not intended too. When loose they are a fun "table-fidgit". We spin, roll, pile, and manipulate at the kitchen table all the time. Fun!!

What the heck? All these reviews say these things are magnetic, and they certainly ARE. maybe they have enough magnetism to pull a single paper clip to them. Any more and the paperclips would fall off. Terrible quality as far as magnetic balls go. 0 stars

These Watermelon Chalcedony beads are truly unique and beautiful. I liked them so much that I ordered two more strands of them. They are very different and make amazing looking bracelets. They were well packaged, arrived quickly, and have had wonderful compliments on the quality and the beauty of these beads. I strongly recommend this company for beads.

The beads look nice. From reading the reviews I didn't expect the magnetic grasp to be so strong. I used the beads to make a bracelet. I wouldn't recommend that if you have other options. I was in a pinch.

This product is advertised as magnetic and they are not. Also, they make you pay to return the item. Do not buy from this company.
