I only sleep four hours a night then I wake up and I can’t go back to sleep. I have been taking this for years. This stuff is a lifesaver. I think I would end up having a nervous breakdown without it. You cannot take it every day, your body will get used to it. I take it every other day or every two days. I only need a half a tab and I will sleep 8 to 9 hours. Once in a while, I will take a full tab. I can’t even get out of bed in the morning. I will sleep about 10 hours on a full tab. This works better than anything I have ever used. I don’t get any bad side effects from it. Maybe a little dried throat in the morning.

You may ignore the stars, as this is comments only. I find this antihistamine very good for putting me to sleep when I am failing to fall asleep at night, though after I go to sleep with this drug, I wake up before I pee in the bed if I need to go in the night! But for men with an enlarged prostate, this drug is likely to promote urinary retention, difficulty urinating or urinary hesitancy. The drug carries that warning (which some may fail to see) where it mentions that adverse effect "trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate". I suppose that women may not have that resulting problem! As opposed to my good luck with this drug as a sleep aid, my wife who has insomnia a lot of the time, finds that the drug does often fails to put her to sleep. Since I have nasal congestion, I also find that this drug seems to open my nose.

I have always had trouble falling asleep.. Even as a small child I remember tossing and turning and that continued throughout my life and into adult hood. It actually got worse as I became an adult. I've tried everything from dollar store sleep meds to prescription sleep meds to marijuana to ANYTHING that I thought would make me sleepy/sleep. I was skeptical of these because they say "one dose pills" so you only are supposed to take one. Before I got these I was having to take 3-4 regular sleep aid pills to even feel slightly drowsy. And that's all they ever did was make me drowsy feeling and that feeling continued throughout the following day. These are completely different. When I first got them I took two because I didn't feel one would be enough since the others I had tried I always had to take multiple doses. I had a great sleep but I was TOO asleep. I didn't move at all throughout the night and woke up stiff as a board! So I tried one like it says and it doesn't make you feel drowsy or like you're going to pass out so I assumed it wasn't working. But as soon as I would lay my head down I would fall asleep like a normal human being! It's amazing! I take one every night now about 30 minutes before bed and it helps me sleep. I've gotten the best sleep in my entire life the past month or so of having these. My husband even has to half the pills and only takes a half of regular dose. We both like these the best. The other day we stayed at my in laws and I didn't have my medicine so I used some TylenolPM and took 4 and still couldn't fall asleep so I know now for sure that these are the remedy for me! I've read some reviews of it not working for some people and I honestly think it's because they expect it to literally knock them out like a prescription sleep aid, but it's not made to do that. Let your body do what it needs to do! Lay your pretty head down on your pillow and sleep naturally an let the medicine do its job! Give it a try! It's affordable!

This actually works a little too well and I don't take them anymore. I have tried so many aids to help fall asleep, this works great the problem is the next day I felt tired and drained all day! I took it at 7pm fell asleep by 8 pm, slept through til 6 am but needed a nap ALL DAY! I tried a half a tablet the next time and it was the same effect.
