There seem to be a lot of Maximalpower customers getting shorted on their battery capacity; I happen to be among them (7.4V, 1200mah capacity). Now, there doesn't appear to be anything between 800mah and 1600mah, and that's a shame, too, because if you use one of the older miniDV cameras (mine is a D363) with the available SC memory card (I use a Class 4 2GB) and you have a combination that will go an honest-to-gosh 2 hours of filming (which I do when I'm filming the JV/Varsity scrimmages at the high school) without the potential for a tape stretching or breaking in the middle of the action, and without all the drag of the tape transport sucking unnecessary juice out of the battery. I filmed an out-of-league JV game today; with the introductions, something of a halftime, and all of the high-fiving and handshaking at the end, and even after two non-stop hours the camera was still going - near the end of its capacity (chip and battery, too), but certainly what I had intended the new battery do. OK, it may not be exactly what I ordered, but it's already proven its worth, so I intend to keep it.REVIEW AMENDED: Finally had a chance to really "twist the battery's tail" and I have to believe that the battery is simply mislabeled. My 800mah battery, about 5 weeks old, seems to consistently do about 80 minutes of filming before the "low battery" indication starts to flash. I completely recharged the Maximalpower, grabbed a couple of SD cards and went to work. After 2 hrs., 51 mins. of recording on the first chip (now at capacity with a 480P recording) I went to switch to the second and discovered that the battery was STILL indicating a 1/2 charge! (Not that it had that much, but it was another 57 minutes until the low-battery indication). Now, either my Samsung battery has a bad case of anemia or the Maximalpower is on a steroid IV! I rescind every faint criticism I may have voiced, and can only assure readers that the Maximalpower is going to WOW! you.

Charged the batteries and they seemed too good to be true. They only show a 25% charge even though the camera says they're charged. Used for a day and neither of them lasted for more than 2 hours. They did work but not what I was expecting. My camera displays the battery percentage at less than full for less than 10 minutes. Too good to be true for the price.

When I was looking for a Battery for my Samsung Video recorder, I needed a battery that would last much longer than the one supplied by the manufacturer. This unit is a good battery to use a in place of the manufacturers larger replacement battery. It literally last twice a long as the the smaller version, which would be expected. It is recommended to buy a battery charger, so you can always have one battery charging. Good buy for the price.

So far so good have not had the opportunity yet to use is for a long period but it charged and for the first time in over a two years my camcorder works again. So I am a Happy mama.

For the price of this product it was great compared to the chain store where my camera was bought.The product works the way I expected it too. Once charged I get serveral hours of running time.

The transaction was as I expected. The product works fine, The battery last much longer than the original, but not twice as much as I expected. At least, I can record and entire DVD with half a charge left.

Great product

The fit was good. Lasted longer then the old battery. But not as long as I would of liked. It did the job. What more could you ask for.
