Cheap, but very useful.
For what it's worth, it does its job very well. I will preface this, though, by stating that I already have a moisture trap at my compressor, but the humidity meant that just the one wasn't catching all of the moisture. So I bought this little trap to try and alleviate that. It's a plastic body with a metal top, and it surprisingly does its job pretty well. Since installing it, my moisture problems have disappeared. I do get the feeling it might be too small for people with more serious moisture issues, but as a redundant trap, it works very, very well.Normally I have to put teflon pipe tape on my more permanent fittings to get a 100% seal, but this one sealed surprisingly well. Again, the hose side of the connection is plastic, so one has to be careful not to over-tighten it, else you'll crack the stem. The discharge is a simple brass plunger on the bottom, and it expels air and moisture VERY quickly. But that actually does it service. As long as one bears in mind that it's a plastic piece, and doesn't try and screw the fittings down GAT, then it'll serve you well. I have no complaints so far.

Traps Moisture
So I live in a fairly humid area, and after about 20 minutes of airbrushing, I start getting air in my house, despite having a moisture trap at the outlet of my compressor and blowing down the trap regularly.I got this today, and it works great. Some water has still got inside of the trap, but none has made it past the extra filter. I've had enough moisture get in there that I've had to blow it down several times, but my airbrush hasn't spit water once today.Take note: the bottom connection to the trap is made of plastic. If you crossthread your hose onto it, you'll ruin the moisture trap. I have a quick disconnect fitting (many airbrushes ship with one), and I recommend picking up one if you don't have it. If you put the quick-disconnect onto the plastic side, you'll never have to worry about it after the first time. The top of the trap has a metal connection, so just screw it right onto your brush.

Works very well at removing water from compressed air on a humid day.
Definitely works to eliminate water from compressed air. I was having a huge problem using my airbrush, especially in the summer when the humidity was especially high. This water trap absolutely stops water from coming from the compressor air to the airbrush. The absolute only problem is the spring loaded part that's supposed to allow you to release the water that collects in the trap without having to disconnect the airbrush. Well, the product I received has this part obviously cemented into place in the closed position. So, water doesn't get out, but the only way to empty the water out of the trap is to disconnect it from the airbrush, get a wrench and unscrew the top silver portion, and dump the water out. Not a huge deal, but the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars. For the price, it definitely wasn't worth returning because of this, and it does an awesome job of collecting water.

Solved my moisture problem
Purchased because despite the moisture trap on my compressor, I was still getting moisture in the line after long sessions of airbrushing. Things like priming big piles models for 2+hours straight. Internet said this was likely due to warm air carrying moisture past the trap before it cooled and condensed in the air hose, and a trap closer to the brush was best solution. Got this try because it was cheap and small enough to go right on the brush. Out of the box it had the right thread size for my brush (Iwata Eclipse). the neck is long enough it doesn't really affect my grip on the airbrush itself any more than the hose already did. I have not had any moisture make it through this trap and i can clearly see the trapped moisture that was previously messing up my airbrushing collecting. blowing out the trap is quite easy. i just press the drain button and all the trapped water except for maybe a few tiny droplets is quickly blasted out the drain valve. Probably the best bang for the buck upgrade i have done to my airbrush setup so far. Though that said, my understanding is you only really need this if you work in a fairly humid environment.

Good quality, works as promised.
Hooked this up to my Iwata HP-CS as I was having a BIG problem with moisture coming out of my 15 year old Iwata Sprint Jet. As soon as it heated up it would splatter a milliliter of water into whatever I was spraying and ruined several pieces. This resolved that completely. The air was drier than ever and the compressor (though still spitting water out) was no longer messing up my projects. Must have.

One was broken in the box
One of them was cracked already when I opened the package

Fantastic product at a great price!
Awesome! I was a little concerned that it wouldn’t function as well as the official iawata moisture trap, but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a shot. Boy was I pleasantly surprised to find that at a fraction of the price of the iawata, it function exactly how you would hope. No more sputtering! I haven’t had a single moisture issue since I got this little guy. I’d highly recommend this product!

Perfecto
Pequeño, ligero y efectivo para ayudar a retener lo que logra pasar del compresor. En mi caso, tuve que acostumbrarme a una nueva posición de la mano al tomar el aerógrafo pero no fue problema.
