Great toy quality
this is a quality item, the plastic is very thick. Daughter puts it on her dolly every time they ride and honestly it has stayed on during tumbles and protected the doll.

Great compliment to the doll bike seat
We purchased this along with the doll bike seat for a birthday party of a friend. It was such a hit we used it again for a neighbor's kid. She was thrilled and then when the kids rode bikes together my girls complained that they didn't have their own so Santa brought them for my kids this year. "Helmet" was heavier/thicker plastic than I expected and I was worried it would make the doll's head bounce around. It does for some brands but not most. The kids like that it is heavy as they feel like they are REALLY protecting their dolls, which I feel sends a good message. They are able to clip and unclip the helmet themselves and we have not had it get tangled up in hair YET. Kids really liked having stickers to decorate the seats. They come in pink and purple so that they can match the seats. Cheap gift that gets used regularly if you have bike riders! (-:

Stylish, Fits American Girl Well
This helmet is well made, stylish and fits American Girl well. It has an adjustable snap that is easy for small hands to manipulate. My granddaughter enjoyed decorating the helmet with the stick on decorations that accompanied it.

Ok, build quality a little low.
The straps for the helmet didn't stay in very well, the helmet actually separated allowing the little metal bar holding the strap into the helmet to come out. We were going for a bike ride then and my daughter was very excited to use it, so I repaired with a little tape to get it working. I suspect some super glue will fix it, but a little annoying that I have to repair a product out of the box to use it. I'd give it a 4.5 stars on how much my daughter loves it, but build quality a 2.
