Great for scrapes and cuts
I hike and carry this with me every trip. I have been using this for years and haven't found anything that works as well for sealing and protecting cuts and scrapes. It is very thin and goes on easily with the brush applicator that is built into the cap. The bottle is very thick and can take a drop without breaking. The liquid bandage stings when applied, but that only lasts a few seconds. It dries within a minute or so and forms a hard protective surface. I don't think this can stop bleeding with deep cuts, but works well with scrapes, scuffs, and minor cuts. I usually buy the 0.3 oz. bottle because a liitle goes a long way. The 1 oz. bottle will probably expire before I can use it all.

Effective Waterproof Liquid Bandage for Hard-to-Cover Areas
This New-Skin Liquid Bandage works effectively and provides a clear, antiseptic, waterproof protective coating for minor cuts, scrapes, and dry, cracked skin. It applies like nail polish and dries quickly to form a tough, flexible, waterproof seal. Itโs especially helpful for hard-to-cover areas where traditional adhesive bandages donโt stay in place. Overall, itโs easy to use and very effective. I highly recommend!

Love this stuff
I use this any time I have a cut or scrape or whatever. Because it is antiseptic, it keeps infection away which is what delays healing. Because it is effectively a glue, once you put it on, it stays (unlike bandages which I always seem to have come off). It stings a little when you put it on but I just tell myself that that means itโs working. I will definitely buy again.

Held up through sweat, dirt, and tools โ perfect for Handymen
Iโm a full-time handyman, and that means busted knuckles and scrapes are just part of the job. I picked up this New-Skin Liquid Bandage after slicing my finger on a sharp edge of sheet metalโright where a regular bandage never sticks. This stuff goes on like clear nail polish, stings like hell for a second (which honestly lets me know itโs doing something), and then it dries fast and forms a solid, flexible seal. I was gripping tools again within minutes. It held through an 8-hour day of sweat, sawdust, handwashing, and lugging gear. What I like: โข Stays putโno peeling or slipping โข Keeps grit and grime out of open skin โข Dries fast, no waiting around โข Takes up almost no space in the truck Minor downside: Strong smell when you first open the bottle, and yeahโthe sting is real. But thatโs just part of the deal if you want it to clean and seal at the same time. Bottom line: If you work with your hands and donโt have time to baby a bandage all day, this stuffโs worth tossing in your toolbox or glove box. It earned its spot in mine.

works quickly
This New-Skin Liquid Bandage worked great on my fingers. Winter weather, handling packages and washing dishes lead to cracked skin on my fingertips. I put some of this on the skin cracks and it eased the discomfort quickly. It protected my fingers so they skin was able to heal sooner.

good for cuts that should not have happened!
I needed this when the front door slammed on my finger - it was a strong wind and i happened to have my hand on the door so my cats couldn't get out! I remembered new skin from many years ago and was pleased that it was still being made. It works. It helped heal my cut.

Super Product
Great product and also contains an antibiotic. Super for small paper cuts on fingers. Closes them immediately, they heal. When used the pain stops.

It burns when applying!
It really burns when applying to a fresh cut!! And smells like very strong fingernail polish remover. Not a pleasant thing.

Good innovative product
Useful! Quite waterproof with 2 coats, used on small cuts on my hands where even waterprooof band-aids canโt hold off the water. Takes maybe half a minute for a thin coat to dry. Stings a bit when applied due to the antiseptic in it. Helped with wound healing as another cut on my finger was taking a long time to heal due to water getting through the bandaid (even though it was supposed to be waterproof). This kept it dry. Needed occasional re-applications. Smells like nail polish and applicator is also like a nail polish wand. A bit pricey for one bottle but it will last a long time as you only need a small bit per application.
