Since I primarily use this for running, it is a little less than discreet than I would like it to be. I usually run with a hat under the lamp, so it's not that noticeable. Without it, however, I think the weight of it would cause it to go flying. That's the only standout con. The fact that I can recharge this, given how fast the batteries die on other-non-rechargeable- headlamps, more than makes up for this fact. Again, however, I just wish I could have something that was just a bright with a smaller form factor. It is light weight, and I can't even tell I have it on. It is very bright. Actually, I use the lowest setting for electronics work I do. It also has a hand-motion-activated setting which is a great idea for times I don't want to press the on/off button.Update: Less than two months of low usage. The light itself is fine, but the headband/strap only lasted less than two months.
